Because of the size I couldn’t put them in a pan without replacing a broken burner and reseason my largest cast iron pan. So I opted to bake them on a pizza pan instead. Could they have been about 10% tastier? Yes. But at the same time I didn’t have to do any cleanup because I put parchment paper down between them and the pizza pan. Didn’t even need to flip them. Was it ideal? No. But neither is a broken burner.
You did remarkably well, especially with a broken burner!
