Minato Aqua of hololive 2nd Generation will be graduating on August 28th. We thank her for all she has done for us until now and are grateful for the support of fans who have been with her during her activities with us.
A graduation live concert is scheduled for August 28th. Please await further details.
We will continue to provide full support until the time of graduation, and kindly ask for your unwavering support and encouragement for Minato Aqua. We wish her all the best in her future endeavors.
Glad to see we’ll actually get a graduation with a proper send off, the last few members to leave haven’t been given a proper chance
Aww man. I’ll really miss the onion girl, she’s one of the OGs that got me into vtubers.
I hope at least it’s not because of some sad reason (I haven’t watched the vod yet).
Sad and sudden announcement but at least it’s a proper graduation, that’s something. I hope she does as well in whatever she does next.
My guess is with the new studio came with ramping up of more idol and socal activities. I could easily see this becoming overwhelming for her. She’s an introvert who wants to game and stream. We will 100% see her again
At least she gets a proper send off. I really hope she got to go in her own volition, not because of something like health problems forcing her to
Aw thats rough to see Aqua go. She’s really a powerhouse. I do wish her all the best in the future
Of course it’s a proper graduation, the talent decided to leave, she didn’t breached the contract.

While I’ve not been keeping up with Aqua much, this is surprising and sad. Hopefully it’s because she wanted to herself. Maybe move on to something else after 6 years. I wish her all the best
At least it’s not a termination again but I suppose we’ll see a lot more of these going forward, being a VTuber isn’t exactly the easiest job plus it can be considerably restrictive on the talent’s private life.
Nothing to do but to wish her the best for whatever she has planned for after Hololive.
Ouch. She wasn’t one of my favorites but I still liked her a lot. As others have said, hopefully it’s nothing serious and we’ll see her pop up in stories from time to time.
