  • Splitgate Has Fumbled Again and Failed to Secure Any Traction Following 'Rebrand'

  • I think this is definitely the case. For example, Halo Infinite is probably the last "classic" Halo game we'll get in the sense of it has campaign and multiplayer, future games will probably just focus on either the campaign side of things or multiplayer. And some might even be public lobbies only, no custom games/forge.

    As much as I wish we could get something as content complete as Halo 3 nowadays, it just doesn't seem feasible anymore

  • Kinda surprised it's not the week before, Java is on the pre releases. Unless Bedrock just needs more time to try and fix up a lot of these bugs that have been gaining more attention recently.

  • That's definitely a key point. Absolutely loved the first Forest game, the map was just the right size for what content it had, then the sequel has a map 4x the size that is just completely empty for 90% of it. They did make some improvements over early access but it was still mostly a waste

    It's always a shame when members have to graduate for health reasons especially when they don't get a proper goodbye but hopefully now without the pressure of having to return she can recover in her own time

  • It also says in the description that it has been translated to Japanese by Bae, I don't think a hiatus announcement would need to be translated but hope I'm wrong

  • Indeed, I think a lot of them are realising that if they go a lot of their fans will follow them so they're more open to the idea compared to before when maybe it wasn't as guaranteed.

    There's always advantages to being indie or corporate, but having that fanbase follow you going back to indie eliminates a lot of the biggest disadvantages of being indie so I'm not suprised that so many corporate vtubers are leaving.
