Looks like Latin America and my time in Bolivia.
You can see thousands of photos of DPRK on their own websites. They have a video section too. They post agitprop posters every couple months too. Weirdest photo that I saw is that the Pyongyang circus trained 2 bears to box in a boxing ring.

The people have a range of activities to keep them occupied and busy…
But only so they don’t think about the miserable and oppressed they are.
If you have a range of activities to do, then that’s a good thing.
Honestly, Herbert Marcuse’s “consumerism” theory is kinda flawed.
Honestly, it’s a good part of the essay, though I have a lot of disagreements with it overall.
Fr if DRPK residents were miserable and oppressed but still getting bread and circuses, they’re doing better than most
countries
