I’m not sure this government listens to petitions. You need to form an alliance of digital id lovers and then throw paint on a tank or something whilst dressed as a giant id card. Before you know it the Home Secretary will proscribe your group as terrorists and arrest anyone carrying a digital id card or showing support for it. The government will eat itself so to speak.
