Summary

Trump claimed ignorance regarding the use of the 1798 Alien Enemies Act to deport Venezuelan migrants, stating he did not sign the order and that “other people handled it.”

Despite Trump’s claim, CNN confirmed the executive order bears his signature.

A federal judge ordered the deportation flights halted, but the administration defied the order, citing it as verbal and nonbinding.

Trump and his administration criticized the judge, with Attorney General Pam Bondi asserting the judiciary has no authority to challenge immigration decisions.

The Act itself requires a Presidential proclamation before the powers can be invoked.

And this is coming from the same guy who claims Biden’s pardons are invalid because he used an auto pen instead of physically signing each one.

      That didn’t happen.

And if it did, it wasn’t that bad.

And if it was, that’s not a big deal.

And if it is, that’s not my fault. <— We are here

And if it was, I didn’t mean it.

And if I did, you deserved it.
