I really hate how this keeps being framed as if all parties were culpable in that fiasco on Friday. Out of the gate, trump made it clear that it was going to be a fiasco.
Meh. If our government won’t send any of our tax dollars, we can at least still donate directly to military-focused fundraisers. Won’t be air defense or anything, but helping buy drones still contributes.
I don’t think private donations can come anywhere close to the tens of billions per year that’s being cut off.
No, they cannot. They can still make a significant difference though.
