  • In the short term, sure! In the long term it means that significantly fewer people are interested in facts, sources, and long form information, which can only be bad for Wikipedia and humanity in general.

  • Taking your question seriously - If you're in the USA, you could find your nearest SRA chapter. Often SRA members know people in other less overt local organizations that you may be able to link up with.

  • I don't see Taylor Swift as any different from any other billionaire. It is not possible to accrue that much wealth on your own merit. She didn't get there through album sales, she got there through hoarding real estate and becoming a landlord, and investing heavily in the corporations that have ruined our lives.

  • She's not fine. She's a billionaire landlord who flies in private jets.

  • Bazaar on Bazzite has been slow and crashy for me.

  • Kind of a weird sign tbh. I think we're the ones who call it class warfare, not the bourgeois.

Requiring an account makes it harder to fraudulently inflate numbers, which also benefits the whole community as broadly speaking the most downloaded/endorsed mods are also the best. Bot farming would ruin the site but not paying the most dedicated mod authors would also ruin the site.

  • Aurora is a great choice given those parameters. I also installed it on my wife's laptop and she hasn't had any problems. I even edit video in Resolve on my Aurora thinkpad so I know the nvidia drivers are fine.

  • I use Aurora on my thinkpad, bazzite on my gaming desktop, and fedora on my desktop at work. Huge fan of what Universal Blue is doing.

  • Someone should invent some kind of database of syntax, like a... code

  • I'm staying right here in the imperial core where I can inflict the most damage when the time comes.

  • Are they actually called Ninja Swords in the legislation because if so, that's hilarious.
