She didn't get there through album sales, she got there through hoarding real estate and becoming a landlord, and investing heavily in the corporations that have ruined our lives.

  • They pay mod authors (like me!) based on unique user downloads. Requiring an account makes it harder to fraudulently inflate numbers, which also benefits the whole community as broadly speaking the most downloaded/endorsed mods are also the best. Bot farming would ruin the site but not paying the most dedicated mod authors would also ruin the site.

  • Aurora is a great choice given those parameters. I also installed it on my wife's laptop and she hasn't had any problems. I even edit video in Resolve on my Aurora thinkpad so I know the nvidia drivers are fine.
