British Foreign Minister David Lammy said on Thursday he saw no appetite from Russia for peace with Ukraine after listening to his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov talk at a closed-door meeting of the top G20 diplomats in South Africa.

Lammy was speaking to Reuters on the sidelines of a meeting of foreign ministers from the world’s biggest economies, which has been overshadowed by dispute between members over the Ukraine war, among other disagreements.

Trump is the big break they have been holding out for. Why would they want peace now? All that can be done now is help ukraine to hold out until putin is dead or ukraine get nukes.

help ukraine to hold out until putin is dead or ukraine get nukes.

      Why not both?

It’s the main takeaway from the last days that America can no longer be relied upon, effectively stripping Europe of its protection. Hence, Europe must provide its own security, both conventional and nuclear, to no longer be reliant on another country and really be safe. This is ultimately the inevitable consequence.
