I don’t think people are bringing up third parties because they will get elected, I think they’re bringing up third parties to show that these are not guaranteed, but still potentially obtainable votes, that if you take their demands into account, you will get their votes.
They just refuse to put the work in and parachute into the race in the last couple months and siphon a bunch of gullible votes off the people with a chance.
