Some of the streams were absolute swill. Nobody tells these folks just because one can doesn’t mean one should. There’s lots of Chinese street food vendors selling stuff I really wanna eat, weird k-pop adjacent face filter waifu thirst trap stuff, ASMR trash, and for some reason the algorithm was throwing a lot of black republican propaganda at me, and a Hispanic guy in Cali drinking Budweiser and listening to some really good music. I went back to that one a couple times lol.
The internet is simultaneously the best thing and the absolute worst thing to ever happen to humans.

That makes sense. It reaaaaally doubled down on it. Like every third or fourth swipe was another one. And to a man, they were all talking about Charlie Kirk.

Tis the season
There was a site that would send you to random youtube videos that had titles in the various videocamera default formats. It was incredible slice of life observational cinema mixed with occasional horrifying stuff like animal abuse.
I’d really like to find more slice of life type stuff. It’s interesting to see how others live. A lot of it just seemed like people fighting for attention; people clicking their nails on stuff in front of a microphone, people soliciting money to write your name on their face on stream, that was kinda bleak. But I kinda enjoyed watching the food vendors. I liked watching them cook, and watching the people come and go.
