    It’s a really weird flex, but it’s clearly an excuse to try and coverup the fact that the US doesn’t have enough munitions, equipment, or soldiers to hold full scale exercises with since they’ve tossed them all at brown folks in Iran.

      There was an article about South Korea wanting to reestablish talks to get a final peace treaty and some of the comments were saying that “the USA wouldn’t let them”.

      This is probably the best time since the armistice of the Korean War for North Korea to get a treaty on favorable terms. Trump would love to be able to get credit for a peace treaty to end the Korean War.

        I bet if we did a Lemmy poll, it would be near unanimous. Every sane adult disapproves of Trump, but there is ample disagreement about how to solve the problem.

        We dont care about trump because everyone knows he is a deranged lunatic, democrats however are cunning and smart at deceiving the masses. Thats why they should be countered more

        On the one hand, they hate unconditionally the Americans, so thus must be bad, on the other, they love North Korea unconditionally, so it must be good

          Even though they do say they hate Americans a lot, I find that their hate is almost completely focused on the Democratic Party. You very seldom hear tankies criticising Trump and the Republicans for some reason.

        Yes. They are wildly disconnected from reality, and if you ever try to ground their discussions with facts they just ban you. Don’t bother interacting with them.

    It’s because Trump is ideologically opposed to backing up any allies unless they’re punching someone he dislikes more. If Israel wasn’t genociding brown people or if the gulf states didn’t vibe so much with his type of capitalism, he wouldn’t give a shit about them. If he can’t bully you or bully others with you, you’re worthless to him.
