urgent action to adapt to a changing climate
If only we’d known that sooner, then we could have done something about climate change :-(
We have only had 130 years to adapt for the greenhouse effect, that is much shorter than EU needs to agree on something that important.
In 1896 Svante Arrhenius calculated the effect of a doubling atmospheric carbon dioxide to be an increase in surface temperatures of 5–6 degrees Celsius.
How could we possibly have known?
Why? Rivers don’t pay taxes, neither do they work for starvation wages. So they don’t produce anything of worth to the handful of addholes in control.
