Don’t go there. If people would’ve had these opinions on Germany after WW2 that would’ve went really bad. Germany has been rehabilitated not perfectly but imo rather well. I think it is possible for Israel/Palestine as well.

Or are you suggesting to genocide Israelis like their government is doing to Palestinians right now? That’d be pretty fucked up, don’t you think?

The state of Germany as it were no longer exists. It was literally deleted. This doesn’t mean that all of Germany was genocided. You just cooked up a worst case of your own head and projected it onto op.

      Oh fuck off.

Calling for the removal of a state is not a call for genocide.

I’m so sick of this false equivalency in defense of an actual ongoing genocide by perpetrated by Israel.

Read my comments. I am not defending the genocide. Just not a big fan of the removal of any states or people. Your rage is directed in the wrong direction.

People did have these opinions after WW2. They removed nazis from poland, france, russia, etc. Similarly, if zionists refuse to accept freedom, equality, etc., then they’re free to return to their actual “homelands” in europe, asia, africa, etc. for rehabilitation.

80% of Israeli Jews were born in Israel, they do not have an “actual home” to go back to

Thank God they didn’t gain the upper hand.

I think “Israel” needs to be demilitarized and dezionified so that they cannot hurt anyone else. The people responsible for the genocide and crimes against the Palestinian people need to be tried in a court. Let an international alliance govern the affairs of a new state of Palestinians and Jews willing to live together in piece. Everyone else who wants to continue the violence can fuck Off.

I don’t understand why I am being downvoted for this except that maybe some of these people screaming for peace here actually just want to reverse the killing.

It’s probably because your comment shows a lack of understanding of the region. A demilitarized Israel is a destroyed Israel. They’ve been attacked by every surrounding state multiple times. Hamas, Lebanon/Hezbollah, and Iran have been consistently firing rockets into Israel for years.

The reason why these conflicts are so complicated is that both sides have done so many horrible things that no one is on the “right” side of history. It’s like trying to argue who was the good guy in all the wars of Medival Europe.

      would’ve went

Maybe just “would’ve gone”, if I’m speaking English.

Or are you suggesting to genocide Israelis

I think one can stop propping them up and emboldening them to attack every neighbouring country on the shittiest of sham pretexts, and prevent their repeated belligerent invasions of other sovereign nations without going as far as actually attacking them back, let-fucking-alone going all the way to genocide.

That’s a bit of a leap, don’t ya think? I’ve seen goalposts move, but that’s a little ridiculous.

Thank you for correcting me in such a condescending way. Not everyone is a native speaker, doesn’t mean I don’t speak English.

Look at the comment I am replying to. The literally said Israel must go. What is that implicating? Certainly not Israel needs to be rehabilitated, like Nazi Germany, which is what I am advocating for here.

Reading your second paragraph, we seem to agree.

It’s the Comment I am replying to that seems to want Israel gone. How do you make that happen, without eradicating or displacing them (both of which is considered genocide)?

Thank you for correcting me in such a condescending way.

That’s an assumption. Am I psychic?

Not everyone is a native speaker, doesn’t mean I don’t speak English.

Non-native speakers usually write English really well. Should I know your background and education and your intent like I’m psychic, or should I hope everyone does something correctly and look toward that as a goal?

Sorry I didn’t measure up to the next layer of goalposts!
