      Complex iirc

      Edit: Yup.

      Per Wikipedia:

Complex post-traumatic stress disorder (C-PTSD, CPTSD, or cPTSD) is a stress-related mental disorder generally occurring in response to complex traumas:[2] commonly prolonged or repetitive exposure to a traumatic event or traumatic events, from which one sees little or no chance to escape.[3][4][5]

In the ICD-11 classification, C-PTSD is a category of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) with three additional clusters of significant symptoms: emotional dysregulation, negative self-beliefs (e.g., shame, guilt, failure for wrong reasons), and interpersonal difficulties.[6][7][4] C-PTSD’s symptoms include prolonged feelings of terror, worthlessness, helplessness, distortions in identity or sense of self, and hypervigilance.[6][7][4] Although early descriptions of C-PTSD specified the type of trauma (i.e., prolonged and repetitive), in the ICD-11 there is no requirement of a specific trauma type.[8]

“Complex” - it’s PTSD that results after many repetitive traumas, like child abuse, instead of a single event, like a car accident.

It stands for “complex” - see my other comment ITT for a more detailed explanation.

      Child perhaps?

Think this relates to a abused children who gets very good at reading “moods” or the room as a self defense mechanism.

Can be anything from outright violence to neglect, but kids are very good at learning stuff, also how to survive. So adults who are extremely sensitive to “moods” or calls themselves “empathy” were often abused as a child.

It stands for “complex” - and it is a result of repetitive (often developmental) trauma, like child abuse or domestic violence as opposed to regular PTSD that usually results after a single incident trauma.

It’s worth noting there is no such thing as a CPTSD diagnoses in the U.S. which is the only country to use the DSM-5 to diagnose.

It is a valid diagnosis in the rest of the world that uses the ICD-10 or ICD-11.
