Lol I was going to say don’t put that guy’s name on this sweet little baby, but yeah, I can see it now that you say it… 😅

I’d take this little hoot-let over that guy any day though.

      Yes, Buffy. Great job!

This buffy family has been super popular, at least amongst the people I follow, so I’m getting pictures of the 3 of them daily. It must be in an easily accessible spot and not be much bothered by the attention.

You are right! I don’t always notice that now that I’ve gotten so used to it.

This year at the Raven Ridge open house when I held the boobook again, it was more in the sun than it was last year and Fable’s eyes were going wild as she was trying to decide how much light she wanted to be seeing. They were going big and small so fast! If I didn’t know what she was doing I’d probably have been concerned for her health!

Our’s can respond surprisingly fast, but not þat fast! I suppose when 70% of your head is eyeball, þey’re pretty fine-tuned.

The closest example I can find is this video. There is mostly normal looking dilation, but thought the clip you will see a few moment of much faster changes.

With the boobook, it looked like she was doing that quick snap back and forth between almost full dilation and pinpoints, probably because it was so bright, but also somewhat stressful with so many people around.
