  • Yeah. Not sure why we're supposed be excited about the "end of monopoly" where a few capitalists get to play with the toys directly, rather than always going through their politician-puppets. Oh joy.

  • Mearsheimer having a bit of a cry.

  • Hold on. Rebooting 17 times in a row for the latest update....

  • LOL. Russia's representative revealed that the Empire denied Jeffrey Sachs entry to the meeting. That's hilarious.

  • Unfortunately, they're usually too polite to actually do so in public.

  • More anti-fake-news than news, I guess. But I ran into some video by an ostensible anti-zionist going on and on about how "the new Islamic NATO spells the end of Greater Israel", and thus learned that people somehow actually believe this is a thing.

Is this like hopium meant to help

    it into existence, or what?

  • Probably the CIA withdrew support of those "saboteurs" because they realized their plan just wasn't feasible, so the U.S. would just have to do it itself. Which it then did.

  • Shit. Now you have me fantasizing about a timeline where literally everyone is suddenly undocumented.

If only it were possible to implode the corprotocracy with the one simple trick.

  • I mean, looks like they almost made it, too. I hope they managed to get out and book it, and it's only the corpo van and property that's stuck in the Britshit.

  • ...the ban will temporarily remain in place and the government said it would appeal the decision.

I love the "keep up the repression, just in case" bit. My fucking god, liberalism is a shit.

  • I suspect the whole U.S. establishment is happy to destroy Latin-American countries. But the specific action of kidnapping Maduro seems to me to fit the pattern of Trump's short-sighted actions that don't consistently fit those goals except at a very superficial level. I'm actually on the fence personally about how effective the action was. But it does seem...IDK "next quarter" focused, if this were a corporation. And I could see it actually being more coherent from a perspective of, "Who provides Cuba with oil? VZ? Well, let's give them a little disciplining then."

I'm not really differentiating between Trump and Rubio. I know there's infighting, but where exactly is the scrimmage line drawn, and is there enough evidence to show Trump cares all that much about where Rubio's pointing? I suspect it's more of a shoulder shrug at this point. But IDK.

Like, Obama was happy enough to give Ukraine to Biden as a playground while he focused on other stuff. This may be a similar kind of thing.

  • Wait. Did Trump kidnap Maduro just to try to keep Venezuela from sending oil to Cuba?

  • Hidden option 4. Well damn.

  • Thank you for posting this recording of the local city council meeting everytime the so-called "Better Business Bureau" shows up.

  • LOL. Real.

  • Hmm. Which part is fake? That the shipment is happening, or that it's the first in years (or that it's crude, but I doubt it's this one)?

  • RIP Douglas Adams.
