  • Zweifel kommt halt tatsächlich von der Zahl zwei und bezieht sich auf die zwei Möglichkeiten, die man vor sich hat.

    Ebenso beziehen sich Zweig, zwischen und Zwielicht auf die zwei.

    Nicht so trivial sind die Zweierworte Teufel, Porno, direkt, Diplom und Adresse.

  • Turns out my game was somehow not installed correctly. Because it's a legacy game there is no uninstall option (which is what I would've tried) but you can right click the game in the grid -> Show Game in Explorer and delete the file to force a reinstallation. After reinstalling, the size of its .swf tripled.

    I guess the game was downloading during the white screen and I must have closed and interrupted it.

    But thanks for checking, I wouldn't have discovered the solution otherwise!

  • OK, so präzise findet man das glaube ich kaum in dem Teil des Internet, den ich kenne. ZENSIERT hat leider auch nur bei Singles liederspezifische Genres und ich dazu keine gefunden.

    Interessanterweise werden auch die Tags Hypertone, Supertone und Suicidecore auf der Seite gar nicht verwendet, das scheint wohl schon "zu" nischig zu sein.

    Naja, trotzdem viel Glück, die Daten zu finden!

  • I don't know enough about Windows app development to answer this. Maybe it replaces the old .exe and the now replaced .exe is just continuing to run from RAM? Maybe there is some restarter.exe program in the same folder that does all the work. In any case, this depends far too much on the Windows update process and how to launch applications.

    I just know when I used Windows applications in the past, they were able to restart themselves after updating somehow.

  • Moment, auf welche Art Metadaten beziehst du dich eigentlich? Denn die Metadaten die ich pro Lied in dem Archiv sehe, sind ziemlich gut: Genres stehen in den beiliegenden .txt Dateien und die MP3-Tags scheinen auf den ersten Blick korrekt und vollständig. Nur als Beispiel bei einem zufällig heruntergeladenem Track:

    Spontan wüsste ich nicht, was man mehr bräuchte, weil sich das ja auch alles relativ leicht automatisiert extrahieren lässt.

    Ach ja, und leider hat ZENSIERT nicht soo viele Alben/Kompilationen von denen. Hier zum Beispiel Diabarha:

    Außer Loffciamcore aus irgendwelchen Gründen, da sind locker 20 Kompilationen vorhanden. Aber mehr Metadaten als MP3-Tags (und Genres) findet man dort eigentlich auch nicht maschinell verarbeitbar.

    PS: Und so schlimm ist es jetzt auch nicht. Nichts was ich vermutlich in der Freizeit anhören würde, aber es gibt schon sehr viel Unanhörbareres. Ist wenigstens nicht so lahmarschig wie vieles andere mit dem "experimental" Tag.

  • I meant the old .exe would check the signatures before initializing the official Windows way to update. Effectively have this run whenever you start the application:

    The only thing I have no idea how to implement would be the install_update(path) function. But surely this is one way to install updates without signatures recognized by Microsoft, right?

    And if for some reason you aren't allowed to sign the .exe because this breaks something, then place an unsigned .exe in a signed zip folder.

  • Yes, but from what I understand this refers to the automatic update functionality and not Microsoft's own .exe signature verification thing.

    Couldn't you do it like this:

    • Put hardcoded key into N++
    • If a new release is available: Download, then verify signature
    • If the signatures match, do whatever Windows requires to install an update

    That should work, shouldn't it?

  • I think it's rather difficult to prove beyond reasonable doubt he pulled over after drinking.

    I mean, what can you even use as evidence? Maybe payment records from his bank account to prove he was at a bar or something but I'm not sure a (gross) misdemeanor charge is sufficient for such a warrant.
