    Some of us are angry that half the bus was manipulated into letting the psycho drive.

    The psycho is laughing because they don't care who they hurt and they're having the time of their life.

    But like most childrens book; adults forgot the lessons.

    Even if he loses (unlikely) they won't stop because stopping isn't an option.

    Greed and Corruption. That's all it is. There's no other reason necessary.
