  • I donate from time to time. But the recent and heavy push has been… tiring. It’s almost putting me off from donating again.

  • I just got a 256GB steam deck. It's do able. But you'll want a PC nearby with your games installed. Then it'll just download it from your PC for lightning fast installs.

  • Good night cheapest game box on the market.

  • I prefer a MP3 player. But yeah, that's how I listen to most of my music is on my phone

  • I grew up with cassettes. Type II was a rarity and not what you’d buy from the store. Those were type I tapes.

Plus the whole format was a compromise. CDs almost whipped them out, but when digital came both were gone in a flash.

I think the only benefit of cassette today is making mix tapes, but on a retail and purchasable music standpoint. They weren’t good.

  • I miss iPod. It’s easy to use. Doesn’t spam ads in my face. And the music is my own, I don’t need to pray it doesn’t disappear due to licensing deals.

CDs suck as a portable format but is nice since it’s like MP3s but not proprietary.

Cassettes suck, and I don’t miss them.

Records are a fun novelty. They are the worse format, but the art and the experience is fun especially since I need to be careful what albums I buy. I need to like the whole thing and not just a song or two.

  • You can’t make rom backups we here at Nintendo say their unnecessary.

  • SpongeBob SquarePants and the Cosmic Shake. Nothing spectacular but it’s a solid kids platformer

  • I think my SO was 90% new games but they were all Indi

  • Got a framework 13 the steam deck kicks its butt in everything. No competition especially for the price

  • Considering I got my deck last week, not surprising

  • If I had to guess, the game isn't gamepad optimized i.e. CIV 5, so the game is marked as a keyboard game.

Just shows how well steam input works.

  • I would say that Canadians are friendly especially from other countries. But it depends, and it's a massive asterisks on It Depends*.

In general Canadians keep to themselves and don't like starting things. So we are either very friendly or at a bare minimum indifferent. Depending on the individual they may say things behind your back. (I've found some people here to be passive aggressive).

However the further away from cities you get, the more people who you'll find that are not so friendly. They won't be actively hostile towards you but you may feel unwelcomed. The company I work with has a multinational workforce that assist older people in rural communities. And while most will not say it to their face (I hope). The racist/sexists/homophobic phrases I've heard come out from their mouths was surprising to me and is disgusting. This is sadly true for both rural Southern Ontario and the Maritime Provence's.

I can't say much about the larger urban areas. From what I've heard, and seen blasted on social media, some people bring their baggage with them when they come to Canada. But outside of the rare aggressive/dangerous drivers in the cities, I haven't witnessed it myself.

In general be respectful, be kind, and don't go too far off the beaten tourist trail and you'll be fine.

  • This is a lot. Buggier than I’d thought it’d be.

Tried to change the background color and it crashes the settings app. Search works for exact spelling only and not context or meta data. Search for image and music and you’ll get nothing.

However there is a lot of potential and it’s what I’d install on a MacBook as an alternative. Maybe next release would be good.

  • I see you too have a waste of retail space known as Best Buy/Best Buy Mobile in your community.

  • MEGA Man 2 is the go to and read strategy guides for the boss order.

The games are hard and unfair, but mastering them is where the fun is.

Also Make sure you have the option for a turbo button.

  • I will not defend Amazon. But the lack of local retail/price gouging which is shipping in Canada keeps pushing me to Amazon.

I need a role of 3D printable filament or an SD Card. The nearest store is 1-2 hours away and costs twice as much for the convenience, buying from the manufacturer may not possible and if it is shipping cost just as much as the product.

I would love it if there was competition, but there isn’t and Amazon knows it. So for the most part I just buy from brands I know are safe.

  • That’s not even past the prologue

  • The oldest I can go reliably is the late 80’s and early 90’s.

DuckTales NES, Sonic the Hedgehog Genesis, Puzzle Bobble.

Once we start getting into the mid 90*s games start to get good.

Chrono Trigger, Doom, Rayman, DK Country
