  • We remember the names of their dogs, and use those.

    So it's "Rex's Mum" and "Fido's sister"

  • This is very similar to his playing of fortunate son.

He watched the movie and though the fire-murder guy was a badass.

(Or more likely, he never watched the movie).

I just realised he doesn't make these himself (or come up with them). But still. Asshole.

  • It's one hell of a intragalactic truck-stop.

  • Rogan said they were going to turn Greta into "hamburger".

    Because he's so charming.

  • He's pretty untouchable.

Every government thinks AI is the next gold/oil rush and whoever gets to be the "AI country" will become excruciatingly rich.

That's why they're being given IP exemptions and all sorts of legal loopholes are being attempted/ set up for them.

  • He's just gone out to buy cigarettes. He'll be home any day now.

  • It's the same reason Captain America beats people up with a shield.

It's hard to think of yourselves as as a saviour otherwise.

  • I think the post is about being on the recieving end of them, not being the user.

  • There's a book called "Stiff" by Mary Roach where she looks into all the various ways to (legally) dispose of your body.

You can donate it to scientific research (my personal preference) and they will use it as a very accurate crash test dummy (usually).

Things like the glass in car windows and car crumple zones were invented with the help of such donations, and she claims that on average 14 lives are saved by every body donated.

  • Will it stop my girlfriend from poking at my butthole when I'm above her on the stairs?

  • I was being sarcastic.

They will for sure use things like phobias/weaknesses to psychologically influence you to get you out of their way.

  • They for sure won't get hold of any notes about medical conditions (or god forbid, notes from your therapist) and use them against you if you opposed them.

  • There's different types of vest, and they're rated to stop different types of bullet.

If these guys are just pretending to be cops, they may well have just grabbed the cheapest vests they could find that looked convincing.

And a rifle round could have just punched straight on through a vest only rated for pistol rounds.

Also most vests don't cover the neck or sides of the body. Or the big arteries in the legs.

  • Doors

    Jump
  • It's socially acceptable to pay to take something away from someone, but not to give it to them.

  • It's not completely invisible, but has more of a greyish hue.

    Hence "Silverado"

  • Imagine being appreciated, complimented on your work, and paid appropriately.

Edit: Oh it's about teens? Ok that's not good.

But for adults, I for sure understand the appeal of this kind of work.

  • I've been using mint exclusively for like 3 months and have been using a hearty blend of terminal installs and the program manager app.

It seems to not have caused any problems YET, but I've been assured it will. I see flatpack conversations a lot and don't fully understand the differences (apart from the install method).

Is it worth understanding and committing to a single system or can I just be a low-power user for a while?

  • Definitely don't buy a bunch of those big elastic bands for workouts and loop the cars together in pairs.

As a non-alternative (i.e. don't do this either) the same pairings but with a thin rope with a self-tightening knot.

It will break without any noticeable effort from the car, but will probably make a big bang.

  • Jojoba oil and grapeseed oil are a game changer.
