  • Good company.

  • Good thing they're just our timeline's Storm Troopers, else someone could've been killed.

  • Maybe they found the loudest door in the blockade. Or accidentally ran into it without looking. I doubt they dropped on it elbows-first. Though I imagine all these things to be more effective than current actions.

  • How good is hospital recovery?

Sure, there's some cons, but you basically get a free card to game relentlessly, undisturbed, and guilt-free. Tragically, you eventually heal up and have to go back to being a normie.

  • And I bet he has a burner that can write at 16x.

  • How?

  • I have Finnish Lapphunds and they love a good howl session. When they hear me say "Ah-woowoos?", the eldest male leads the charge with a tremendous wolf-like howl and we all join in. They're all happy with themselves after.

Though, on rare occasions, he lets out a huge howl in his sleep which is the most frightening thing to be randomly woken up by.

  • This is what I do. As far as I'm concerned, there's my password and then there's the one that's a last "are you sure?" step before I sudo fuck shit up.

  • Nah, his voice would still be annoying af to everyone there too. If Bob Marley is Jamaican, Jar Jar is the noise a balloon makes when you pinch the mouthpiece and let the air back out.

  • Yeah but it's like the gearbox. While everything's pulled apart, you may as well swap out the clutch, bearing, and flywheel too because they'll need replacing again first. Especially if better versions of them are now supported.

  • Because all his other deviancy didn't affect her until this one.

  • Those mods sound just like how the father of fascism himself used to behave. Quite a coincidence.

  • I've just switched to KDE and it's great, but it has about the same amount of cons as gnome.

I gave Cosmic a go recently and it's great, but not quite ready yet. I think in a few updates time, I'll be switching. It's kind of like a cross-over of gnome and KDE and addresses a lot of the long standing pain points of both.

  • Shit. Can I re-roll?

  • As a species we have evolved with certain traits. These traits are the reason we are the top.species. Try as we may, with society, we cannot just blink these traits away,; no living thing can evolve that fast.

So whenever someone comes up with a great idea of how things could be in society, they often ignore our species' traits of ruthless ambition, persistent survival, tribalistic loyalty, etc. It is like when people get border collies thinking they'll be great pets, but then realise their true nature and how much work and.effort has to be put into them every day to get.the most.out of them.

Idiots think we're somehow different and beyond the other animals, but we're not. How society is today is exactly how we are. If someone wants to change it, they need to factor human nature, else it won't work.

  • Yeah but your income adjusted for it, so stop complaining /s

  • Whoah, whoah, whoah.

Let's keep things on a tankie-friendly level and use our small words. They're not ready for concepts like, "Assessing everything and everyone without bias and forming an original opinion based on perception and knowledge of all information currently available."

We gotta ease them into the whole concept of, "Borrow someone's ideas, but not all of them." If an ideology is right 50% of the time, that's an extremely high success rate. So only the simplest of us 100% commit themselves to an ideology; wrong bits and all.

  • I was watching a YT series about the colossal light rail fuck up in Toronto. I'm not even from the American continent, its just that bad it's YT entertainment for the world now.

Good to see Montreal has some IQ points in its municipality.

  • Of course, driving seems safer than getting on a bus or climbing down into a subway station. Motorists have a sense of control and feel protected in their vehicles. In contrast, transit travel means sharing enclosed spaces with crowds of unpredictable strangers, which naturally invokes anxiety.

Yeah, but social contracts go out the window whenever people feel protected. Whether that be by a steel frame or internet anonymity. When exposed, everyone behaves much better.

  • Yep. Cowboy coffee is Turkish brew. The only difference is a lack of any extra implements and it's usually done in a big camp kettle or pot. The grind isn't that fine either. But for all intents and purposes, the method is the same. Greek coffee is also very similar.

I'm also a big fan of boiling more tea than normal to get a strong flavour lol. But usually out camping, I'll have my coffee grind and just tea bags because they're much easier Always double bag it 😁 Big peppermint fan, but also like a lot of smooth and flowery blends. Like the opposite of the coffee, I guess—cover all bases.
