1·7 days agoOh sweet! When I first tried it, PopOS tried using it as a WiFi adapter (which I suppose it is) and it kept failing to connect. Hopefully this resolves it.

Steam Hardware@sopuli.xyz•This may be the best way to play 2D* games**
13·10 days agoI really enjoy streaming games to my Frame, but I’m not big on using the controllers for flat games. The Steam Controller + Steam Frame combo is excellent though
What should be used instead?

14·13 days agoI’ve heard it in a few places, one that comes to mind being an interview with some engineers that PC Gamer did. The RAM was originally half (on par with the Quest 3) but once they realized how much the potential library would expand, they bumped the RAM to 16GB.
This decision was made pre RAM crisis, of course.

231·13 days agoThe fuck is this puff peice garbage? You’re just as (if not more) likely to get burned by a genuine Samsung battery. Hell, the entire Note 7 line was banned from being taken on airplanes.

67·13 days agoThey mention that the compute required to support streaming was also already enough to run standalone games. Removing the ability to run games on the headset wouldn’t have changed the design much anyway.
Ah, that makes sense. Nice work!
That CS2 wire running a bit close to the GP16 solder bead, no? Or maybe it’s jacketed and I just can’t tell from the image…
