  • Nice. Doesn't cover video chat/screen share options, but this is a good rundown.

    If you don't care about privacy or security AT ALL, there are some additional options like Guilded.

    TeamSpeak6 is also out, and is great for voice/video, but is missing the forum-like chat experience.

    Unfortunately, there are no drop-in replacements. All of them involve sacrificing functionality in some sense.

    Maybe the recent controversies will drive additional development.

  • Had to get some caulk for a project recently. Holy shit there are so many different types of caulk. Different colors of caulk. Different sizes of caulk. Specialty caulk that is thick and caulk that is particularly sticky.

    I'm not a caulk person but after getting hands-on, I got what I needed.

  • I strongly feel that the best way to improve the useability of LLMs is through better human-written tooling/software. Unfortunately most of the people promoting LLMs are tools themselves and all their software is vibe-coded.
