  • I'm hoping to get at least 5 years out of my current phone. Got it December 2022. The manufacturer has a 5-year warranty and Android updates and promises availability of replacement parts for 10 years. So far, there is no reason to update.

  • Super enrhumé alors hier j'ai regardé Superman (version cam de merde avec soustitres hard-codés et watermark qui sautait partout).

    J'ai bien aimé le film mais ça m'a fait pensé à la première fois j'ai vu un film piraté... C'était le Matrix qu'un ami de mon frère avait transféré sur VHS (version cam de merde aussi).

    I always found both of these search engines to be Bing skins, and a few years back there was tonnes of negative stuff written about Qwant. Anyway, I am shocked that the project reached completion.

  • Je suis au Canada et je visite la famille. J'ai vu des pubs, des pubs et encore des pubs...

    Depuis 2006 j'habite en France et je ne regarde pas la télé en directe. Rentrer au Canada c'est maxi best of pubs et télé-réalité.

    Exemple : mon fils regarde la chaîne pour les enfants

    • 3 minutes de pubs
    • bande annonce pour l'épisode suivante
    • 3 minutes de pubs
    • générique d'ouverture
    • 3 minutes de pubs

    Quand j'étais petit c'était un peu pareil mais au moins les épisodes duraient 22 minutes. Là les épisodes de 7 minutes (Teen Titans Go!) ont tellement de pubs que seulement 2 passent sur un créneau de 30 minutes.

    Et chaque truc est une serie télé-réalité : contruire des maisons, détruire des maisons, acheter des trucs, vendre des trucs, mariage, divorce, cuisiner, accidents de voitures...
