I always get my isp outers as pass through so network is controlled by my entry. I have never bothered doing much with it but it's nice to have the option.
I used to use a ddwrt firmware for years but eventually my hardware could never keep up with my net speeds and manufacture firmware was faster. Trying an Omada network now seems alright but haven't added their wifi.
When my oven element died (according to my girlfriend made a huge light then that's it, repair guy said it basically welded) and we had a guy in to check it out he sent some recommendations of brands to purchase based on his fixing (actually had a list ready so it had some random don't get their dryers but rest is okay for that brand) since it t blew the circuit board too. Though that was only a few months ago so hopefully it'll work out. I imagine many repair people are willing to let you know their experiences though may want a general place than say specific brand repair ones.
It was amusing how apologetic he was that he couldn't fix it, I always assume that's a possibility but was still over $100 to get him there and basically lost money, if you were knowledgeable or prescient. I imagine others aren't so calm when they hear that.
I do like how Canadians differentiate by saying first nations now though it makes things so much simpler. Do recall native vs Indian days for sure, older myself. ~~~~
My dad was native but I never got the card, band was disolved or something and my dad kept trying but no luck. In the end I'd rather all people have the best rights, we should all have the same rights and then being the best (dental medical education etc). We all live here and want this country to prosper. But evidently the government says that's not cool. Mean I'd still take our government over the fucking tangerine down south. Fuck that shit but it's be awesome if we offered everyone advanced schooling and good social net regardless, it only helps build our country.
To be fair I'm not saying anyone should have less we just need to all get the best from our government. I do understand that first nations have been given the shaft but I'd hope the best for everyone gives everyone a boost. Or at least those that need it, cause we're a decently well off country.

I always just assume any adaptation will be less than average, then if it's better it's a bonus for something I've enjoyed reading (listening to in this case for me) and just accept it as is. If worse well I didn't expect much.

I've enjoyed him since Scream and Hackers, I think he does a great Shaggy (voice acting included). Heck I probably thought Wing Commander was more entertaining with him, I can't recall but unsure if there was any good video game movie at the time.

Scream and Hackers remain two of my favourite movies ever. Scream cause it was a bit of a different horror from Craven (Nightmare on Elm Street being my favourite 80s horror series) and Hackers ... Well computers and one of the best soundtracks ever, used to listen to it mowing the yard. Ended up into a lot of electronica tunes over the years, not from that but why I enjoyed it so much.
Unsure if they still are but recall NRA was completely compromised by Russia in Trump's first term. That whole bit with Butina (unsure if spelled correctly basically slept with a bunch of higher ups due to being affiliated with the NRA) who now (or used) to be in Russias equivalent of congress. Yeah can't trust that organization. Sure the money dried up somewhat but still some channels available to push out some messages on their behalf.
I grew up in northern Canada, snow days may have happened but most I recall is busses not running (probably not physical issue but safety issues if something happened) after -40 so little use in going to school cause least half the kids needed the rural busses to get in so teachers adjusted lesson plans accordingly.
I guess even growing up I always wished it wasn't so cold outside but the not having school days was fun to stay inside, I hated the atmosphere there but loved learning still.
