  • I don't recall anyone having to take one in Star Trek, my head canon is they remove it via transporters at night, like a quick swap when aleeping. As someone with intestinal issues that sounds wonderful.

I haven't seen much of the newer series though and I assume they still urinate to lower energy costs. I may have pondered this a bit.

  • Huh I just remembered the orders of arithmetic but parentheses trump all so do them first (I use them in even the calculator app). Mean I assume that's that that says but never learned that acronym is all. Now figuring out categories of words;really does my noodle in sometimes. Cause some words can be either depending on context. Math when it's written out has (mostly) the same answer. I say mostly because somewhere in the back of my brain there are some scenarios where something more complicated than straight arithmetic can come out oddly but written as such should come out the same.

  • Like doublespeak or just saying the complete opposite and people accepting it? Shit man, no first world country would do that at least. Eyes the US

  • Mess with the moose you get the antlers.

  • Maybe I didn't help cook as much but was my job to clean after pretty much every dinner. Always thanked my Mum for the dinner nightly (regardless of my taste preferences). Pretty much set the table for dinners all regular night and cleaned up.

Larger dinners with company she let me stop cleaning after awhile but these days I'd gladly clean till the end, she made the best dinners.

  • Yeah they're just skwaking like crones trying to distract from their own issues, Vance is basically a mouthpiece junior, like anyone would consider him a leader there. If yam tits croaked he wouldn't be first in line in a proper upheaval. Mean props if he managed it but he's a douche.

Actually the South Park episode with the Canada wall did it well....what's over there? don't worry about it buddy. Yeah you keep to your oppressiveness and we'll keep to our side of the border. It's all good, right buddy?

If they don't want to see it they won't. Though I'm worried when their revolution comes being next door and all.

  • Hah as thinking about options I thought DeVito should show up as whoever Combs is playing, the assistant.

Growing up in the 80s I always liked DeVito overall, from romancing the Stone to Twins, those were just my first recalls of him, assume that gives you an idea of my generation.

I'll say I haven't watched much of it's always sunny in Philadelphia but it endeared me to learn he enjoyed the comedy so much so they did what it took to accomodate him in the series. Which from what I understand was filming all his scenes for a season when he was there over like a few days.

Unless I read incorrectly of course but seem to recall that being a thing at the start at least.

  • I just think that's acceptance of all is what those rights movement really meant, they just didn't know what it all encompassed at the time. They were fighting for everyone to be accepted and I thinks that's what we should all hope for. Everyone is a person, everyone has their merits. Even if not all good were all people should be treated as such.

  • I liked Dilbert and the animated series myself. Considering the theme it's truly a disappointment hearing about the creator. I like old ones for how I interpret them (back when I didn't know his ideals) but when you know a creator's ideals then it's hard to enjoy them outside of that.

Like Dilbert was mostly anti corporate (or least their way of things) then the creator went hat in hands on knees to fucking Trump cause he needed help. Fuck that dude like offering Satan a blowjob. I haven't watched recent South Park so if that's a plot point I'd prefer not to read half of it.

  • That's fair I just thought that there may be the one person who saw X-Men (2000) who didn't know she was Mystique. Cause hot damn she was definitely one of the better live actions than drawn.

Wait are X-Men not culturally relevant anymore? Shit I'm old. They had very inclusive ideals which I think is relevant these days is all for North America currently, unsure how well other western societies are doing but it appears not so great either.

I only hope we can end up as inclusive as X-Men they understood everyone was different but wanted to coexist. Isn't that what we all want? Sorry not directed at you personally just adding cause X-Men rock.

  • Didn't watch the 2000s X-Men? Romjin was Mystique, looking quite attractive of course. Mean not saying bad if you hadn't but that's how I remember her originally. Plus she was John Stamos wife for awhile. Keep forgetting it's Jerry O'Connell she's married to now who I used to enjoy from Sliders (first seasons then it gets meh). I don't know the other two myself though, but always enjoy Takei when he's a guest star.

  • Somehow he was cleaning it and it still had rounds to fire or he cleaned and reloaded and left it unsecured so it had rounds to fire. Sounds like sort of person who should own a gun for sure.

  • Lol that's exactly how I saw it as well. Recursive gets those nesting dolls look in my head, loops are the same size but repeated, even if infinite. Yes even if the code is almost the same since you can write a loop recursively anyways (okay haven't tested but seems like it'd work mostly fine but not always as clean).

I think the beauty of it is that the joke can be amusing in multiple ways. Those are the best jokes to me, cause I can think of different ways the next time I see them.

  • 2020 during COVID,, I told my gf it you want to set it up early and take down late let's do it, mean I helped just her preference think it was mid November. Otherwise never before December 1st and down soon after New Years. While I like Christmas it's not the same if it's too long and even that's giving it 1/12 of the year.

To be fair I don't care for either side of the work so once they're up it's easier to say let it stay another week but every moment has its time and Christmas gets like 1/4 of the moments it seems.

  • Well you just reminded me to watch more Star Wars, guess I didn't need it. Fun that there is little debate about which original to watch csuse they're all so much more awesome than the rest. Yes I'm that old, and the shiny interior death star scenes look so fantastic compared to late 80s tv.

  • His character was genetically engineered/altered so he knew to keep his options open. I'm sure they have many options in Star Trek. Really fits for an accepting future.

Unsure if that's been explored in recent series the only 'new' one I've started is Strange New Worlds and it's been (mostly) great but only a few episodes in so far. I do enjoy everything before streaming, least most episodes heh, lots of filler ones back then.

  • Besides that it's from the administration that lies all the time, and no proof has been shown? I guess not, though there are good arguments that the boats couldn't have reached the US and having 11 people on a smuggling boat doesn't make sense.

Then there's the fact that the crimal punishment for smuggling isn't death and they were not even charged, had a trial and found guilty.

  • That was my first thought of a Dracula movie, it's been so long since I saw it I had to double check it was the movie I thought it was I just remembered it was a comedy. And oh what a comedy with Brooks and Nielson, hard to ask for better Okay time to watch again.

I always liked vampire movies in general though.

  • Anything that is hard and worth doing will make you exhausted, some things are worth the exhaustion. I couldn't do it, glad some people with good ideals can.
