That's part of the problem, the establishment never planned to handle the current situation. No one is cut out for this moment that's in a position of power, it's just not something people think can happen so quickly.

Cheap computer (I'm Canadian so let's say these are maple bucks) say $500, what's a rental $30 a month, so 16ish months before it's paid off.
I ran a media PC off a $300 computer for years (I can't recall exactly least 2 maybe 3). If you need more you probably don't need a cloud one, if you get a cloud one it's cheaper to buy a cheap computer every 2 years.
It may make a sense to some but I enjoy having my nas backup and separate media PC. Also if Amazon goes down you can't even access the calculator, least with no Internet there are options at home.
I think that works for everything gestures to marketing.
I saw a comment about the initial report 'administrations do this all the time for sensitive information... etc'. Except this is one administration who uses flimsy excuses for everything, so I figured I'd take note if this headline came, just for personal knowledge and all that it may be correct. I mostly assumed but they're so clumsy it'd come out. Within a couple days that's enough to flood their zone with more bs. I sort of wonder what exactly they don't care discussed, besides anything at all of their actions they have divine right of course in their minds.
Definitely one of my favourites somehow didn't read (well listen) till like 8 years ago, wish I made the effort much sooner but grew up mostly without an Internet or friends to tell me I should check it out...then decades happened. Took me a listen or two to really get it but it's one of those I pick up on some line I didn't ponder before that says more than first glance.
Rest of the trilogy is great too I'm hoping the 3rd in the peripheral series will be good.

Side note reminds me of neuromancer (book) where it's described as subcultures can come up and disappear quite fast. Oddly relevant to today even if we can't plug into the net. It's a single line in the book so don't think that's the focus if you haven't read it, but I do recommend. Though the prose can't be difficult sometimes cause sometimes almost written poetic.

I highly recommend checking out the silicon ones if you enjoy the egg sandwiches (assuming size is English muffin), mine have an arm that makes them easier to deal with. Like a metal arm with a silicon end that makes it simple to work with while hot.
Cleaning is quite simple with that material which is a good bit to my needs ... Bit lazy for the cleanup is all.
Sounds like a reasonable idea for the issue presented. Mean the issue could be on one drive saying the file is there and complete, or many other issues since I don't know the API in the least.
Yours would be my first guess for sure, it thinks it completed so delete local copy, which is what you'd prefer in that situation, well mostly, I sort of prefer a local working copy but need some other names and the program to recognize thm with then upload on actual save to the cloud storage....I say that and still curse at excel when it says it has a backup copy from a forced reboot, always keep one open heh.
Actually to be fair I hate those storages for that reason so much crap can go wrong without a knowledgeable user it makes things worse. You just hope the program can tell if it did it was done correctly heh and if not then end up clicking the wrong button and it's all gone.
Local NAS for anything you think you'll need, random 'free' cloud storage as a general backup. Mean I assume the NAS has raid so mostly good without more.
We have a few silicon circle type things that cook the egg for the size you want (two sizes sort of like a cone you can flip over). Very convenient for breakfast sandwiches. I recall my dad using the outside of mason jar lids for sizing and burning his fingers a lot way back when.
I will preface I hope you and everyone around you is safe, lots of snow is no joke when driving. Not trying to one up you but I don't think Kentucky is the same as northern Canada outside odd conditions is all least not when I grew up. Mostly northern Canada winter is icy not lots of snow roads, cause we got lots of snow plows which sort of compact snow to ice it worse.
I didn't mean to mean it didn't snow much elsewhere but used to snow in September and didn't thaw till spring...well late 80s mid 90s time era. Once it started you put the tires with studs on till least April or May sort of thing.
Once drove threw fresh snow on the highway (early - mid 2000s) could just know where the highway was cause of the hump, besides the highway was ditches. Made it to the airport to rock out new years on the coast. Made sure to leave so I could drive 50kph the entire way just in case heh (normal city speed). Though the snow on highway stopped after about 300kms so could have been worse.

I'm a programmer I think both are an art and can't be replicated by ai well. Sure you get an acceptable pic, you may get something written well (okay stretching more here I haven't read anything by ai that make me think that but it's been minimal so giving some leeway), but human art is its own quality.

Hah yeah lived up north (Canadian so adjust perception of North and South) with a mustang (not gt but rwd), you gotta be careful on road ice hell even light but of snow can cause issues. I'll say I've driven with a few vehicles before that so knew how to handle better than the southern types when it snowed occasionally and used to see people in ditches on off/on roads to the highway. That was something I'll always remember, seeing those vehicles in the ditch, just hit the gas a bit too much.

I used to really like their 502, convenient form, programmable buttons and two extra ones with also dps change ones. Then I ended up buying one recently and I swear the click on the left button was very loud like mechanical keyboard loud click. Just left button not the right mind you.
Think my first 502 was when they were newer (closer to 2010?) and not as bad. Bought a Razer one similar, feels so much better from cord (nice braided not stiff) to even just moving it on the pad, probably felt closer to the original 502.
Guess I should probably try out more mice in the future but I'm old and don't like change and I used the 502 mouse for 15 years (with buying a few times). Guess the downgrades slowly piled up and I just noticed finally or got a crappy one. It may have been cause it was wal mart at Xmas but I didn't even open it for 6 months, I thought I was set. I would kill for a completely silent mouse with the same features.
