  • Anecdotal, but my friend who’s a teacher noticed that while he usually gets tons of Christmas cards and gifts from his students, this year not so much. It’s like an indicator for the economy. People seem to be less festive and/or are having to cut costs this year.

  • Mmm, you’ve got me craving a garlic bagel now! I’ve been meaning to buy some next at my local bagel shop. I’ve been keen on everything bagels for some time now. Still have a few left in the freezer. I toast my bagels first in a skillet with salted butter, then add a layer of cream cheese on top. Delicious! Give it a try if you haven’t:)
