the people who annoy me at work are the ones who don't learn, though
like how many times can you reforward the same chat messages explaining exactly what they're asking you, and the question is "where do I find ____" lol
I tell people to ask first before calling, because it's just polite. otherwise they may not get a response
the only people who can call without notice are my boss and the owner, and even then, if you want me in a good mood and to be prepared for whatever project you're gonna ask about that I haven't thought about in months, it'll go better if you just ask if I have time to talk about xyz
some people don't get it. and those people get to sit there on the line while I bring up the project files in silence
"can I just tell you what's going on-"
"no. because then I'll have questions about your shitty description. so we're gonna wait here until I have the information open for what you're asking about so we're not playing tag later"
local nazi supporter on my Facebook basically says it's his fault for being stupid because he should have announced that he had a gun when he began interacting with them
I'm sure that that would go over well
edit: anybody willing to approach ICE/CBP and loudly declare that they have a gun on them?
so I get a temporary phone if I'm expected to be in a higher risk environment... not really a big deal
I'm not frequently in that situation, so that is an exceptional circumstance. if I break down on the way to Algonquin Park or on the north end, there's enough traffic that I won't die from it.
that costs more money
