  • I can't wait for Huawei and ZTE hardware to be made legal in the west again. Can't hide behind "the Chinese have backdoors in that hardware" projection when the Chinese have taken advantage of the US' backdoors.

  • I can't wait to hear western liberals screeching about territorial integrity, rigged elections, little green men, illegal invasions, and wars of aggression.

    Oh.

  • I feel like I am missing context here. I don't understand why clicking a phishing link leads to getting beaten by cops and charged with a made up offense.

  • They have a lot of policies which are contrarary to the mainstream for the apparent purpose of simply being contrarian to get points with voters fed up with the status quo. I think there is also a section of the bourgoisie which sees the shifting tide and wants to take advantage of if, even though they don't fully understand the reality.

  • The people of Berlin voted to take the apartments held by Deutsche Wohnen into public ownership, another property hoarding company. The language of the referendum made it essentially binding, yet the Berlin senate refuses to move forward. A second referendum was even passed with a practical law proposal and still nothing.

  • As long as the violence rolls down the class pyramid it's "peaceful."

  • My personal take: a coporation doesn't have a phyical body and thus has absolutely no need for a home. And a human has one body so a human needs just one home.

  • You're free to choose which of three shitty corporate house hoarders you rent from.

  • Every accusation is projection.

  • Technically none of the "Spitzenkandidaten" were voted for as such, but at least voters knew which party wanted which Commissioner. Until Germany denounced their very own Spitzenkandidat system after the election that is.

  • In summary, she's the perfect figurehead for the western European political elite.

  • I'm not familiar with Webb but IIRC Aaron Good talks about the nexus between intelligence, organized crime, and finance capital, calling it the Deep State in his book American Exception.

  • He's come up on the Grad every once in a while.

Aaron Maté and the Grayzone have talked about the likely false flag chemical weapons attack in Syria which was primarily pushed by Bellingcat. Bellingcat themselves have had the NED as well as other NATO government orgs listed as funding sources.

One of Evans' buddies from Cracked is an original member of "NAFO," ie. a proud online neonazi troll.

Evans' geopolitical analysis always comes down to "neither Washington nor [villain of the week]," thus implicitly supporting the US position.

Even if he's not explicitly an imperial tool he's a useful idiot.

  • Precisely.

  • Without reading the article the headline and summary remind me of a sales meeting I was roped into at my previous employer.

The sales manager said sales to Chinese firms were very good in the moment, but that can change at any moment because the government is completely unpredictable. All I could do was laugh internally.

  • Behind the Bastards is western leftist at best, liberal at worst. Just to name one issue, Evans is affiliated with Bellingcat, a CIA/NED front outlet. Stalin and Kim Jong Un have been some of the "bastards" covered by the show.

  • How convienient.

  • I think LTT started well. But I haven't watched in many years as the videos got more sensationalist and less honest. Linus is also a horrible boss and from what I have gathered a really unpleasant person since becoming a successful petit bourgois.

  • The cruelty is the point.
