I'm inclined to say slavery is covered by both private companies (outsourcing forced labour to 'less naggy' countries) as well as government entities (with that super convenient exception clause to the 13th amendment)
Jon Stewart had a good point about this: We saw how brazen they lied about something captured in HD from like 8 different angles. Imagine how they lie when there's no immediate evidence to contradict them.
I'm thoroughly convinced UI designers are under the impression we cut ourselves on sharp corners.
