Bin ich voll deiner Meinung. Es geht aber eben nicht mehr, das man sagt "Ursachen angehen" und dann die Symptome so lässt wie sie sind.
Achso, ein Punkt dazu: Es ist mir scheiss egal wieviel jemand Kontrolle über sein Leben verloren hat. Wenn er oder sie Leute angreift wars das mit meinem Verständnis. Da will ich das der Angriff gestoppt wird. Danach können wir wieder diskutieren.

Nix da. Genau das bringt ja nichts. Hast höchstens eine Ultra HD Aufnahme wie ein geliebter Mensch abgegriffen und verletzt wird, das kann man dann im Gerichtsverfahren 5 Jahre später sehen.
Das Problem ist halt die generelle Verrohung und Entsolidarisierung der Gesellschaft. Mit mehr “hart durchgreifen” löst du das nicht.

Es gibt Behindertenparkplätze. Die sind aus Solidarität mit Behinderten eingerichtet. Wenn da jemand drauf parkt, der den Platz nicht braucht ist das Mist und solche Leute machen das nicht aus Versehen und hören damit nicht auf, bis sie entweder oft genug und hart genug dafür bestraft werden, und sie keinen Bock mehr auf die Strafe haben oder man ihnen die Möglichkeit nimmt die Regelverletzung zu begehen. Joa. Ich verstehe wenn jemand aus persönlicher Erfahrung Abneigung gegen die Polizei hat. Und es gibt da sicher Verbesserungspotential.
Aber Rechtsstaat hat halt drei Gewalten. Online haben wir auch mods. Das man Polizei nicht mag und nicht haben will, hält genau so lange bis man sie wirklich braucht und sonst nicht weiter weiß.
Nö das Problem ist sehr einfach, es ist einfach richtig richtig teuer: man tut genug Sicherheitspersonal auf Bahnhöfe und in Züge, die bei Gewalt einschreiten, oder auch vorsorglich betrunkene oder auffällige, laute und störende Personen entfernen.
Das es das ist was notwendig ist und was helfen würde, will nur keiner zugeben, weil dann die Rechnung aufgemacht wird, das uns X Angriffe Y Geld wert oder nicht wert sind.
Es ist außerdem auch eine Kapitulation von verschiedenen Strategien, die einerseits sparen wollen und andererseits behaupten das "Deutschland eigentlich sicher ist" und das eine allgemeine Herangehensweise von Laissez faire funktioniert. Außerdem vermute ich das die entsprechende Leute in drei Kategorien fallen: Betrunkene, Jugendliche und Obdachlose und bei 2 von 3 davon sieht es medial sehr schlecht für die aus die da "hart durchgreifen".

Really interesting because I could easily see this go both ways.
Scientists from a psychology releated field doing dodgy stuff is pretty much expected. "Researching comments" from a subreddit is weird, especially if it's done without asking for consent first. That was a thing that bit someone else the other time. Also, a specific researcher being stuck on this support group in particular? For 6 six years or more? Why? If it's not specifically targeting that group, why is that worthy of study in particular? Aren't there other self help groups online that could be researched?
But also, it's not just a subreddit, it's an LLC and if there is money involved the pendulum of truth could easily swing the other way instead.

Alle Daten die man an ChatGPT geschickt hat (oder Anthropic) sind immer auch Infos an Geheimdienste und Militär der USA.
Und selbst wenn (!) sich eine der Firmen weigern sollte, können die immernoch enteignen und sich die Daten trotzdem holen.

Es hat sich faktisch nichts geändert. Weiß nicht warum man das vorher benutzt hat wenn das der Auslöser ist um es nicht mehr zu benutzen. Hört aber ruhig auf es zu benutzen, das ist sicher gut, die Motivation finde ich halt seltsam.
IT-Fachleuten gilt der elektronische Personalausweis gemeinhin als gut durchdacht und sicher.
Ok. Kann ich nicht nachvollziehen, es ist ein Albtraum ihn als Service Anbieter zu benutzen. Von der Nutzer Seite mal ganz zu schweigen.
Das Gesetz ist aber falsch geschrieben, solange das über private / gmbhs als Identitätsprovider läuft, die profit orientiert arbeiten (müssen) ist das Ding für mich tot. Ich sehe auch nicht das das irgendjemand anders auch nur als SSO nutzt, wenn es einfach mehr Geld kostet als die In-House Lösung die sowieso schon existiert.
Ich vertraue den privaten Anbietern auch nicht, deswegen würde ich den ePerso nie digital benutzen wenn ich es irgendwie vermeiden kann. Meinem Telefon vertraue ich auch nicht.

Auf jeden Fall rechnet sich das für die (bzw. nicht) und zwar gleich aus zwei Gründen:
Einerseits sind 100€ signifikant im Preis, also 400€ vs. 500€, damit kriegt man einen deutlichen Vorteil bei den Absatzzahlen und andererseits ist das eine "Verstätigung des Einkommens" das auf Bilanzen immer sehr sehr gut aussieht, weil es eben nicht von diesem oder jenem Projekt, aktueller Produktion, wirtschaftlichen Stärken oder Schwächen oder Product-Launch abhängt. Das ist einfach "da".
Das ist wie dieser Abo-Effekt, das man mit einem "test monat" gekündigt wird und dann darauf gehofft wird das Leute vergessen ihr Abo zu kündigen, was bei so vielen der Fall ist, das es sich tatsächlich lohnt.

Even if it's not a complete takeover, a company whose work is done 50-80% by actually someone else should worry that they're losing their core competence and what happens when that "supply chain" arrangement gets interrupted.
But again, it's their choice. If they consider it and declare that the risk of that happening is 0% and the expected damage to the company is 0$ and they don't need to worry about it.
Or if they only plan to operate the company for another 6-24 months anyway and they're looking for a nice cash-out and a clean winding down or selling of operations, that's also a viable option for them. Polishing up operations for two years and selling and if the company fails after that someone else is holding the bag.
I would also focus on business stuff, mostly core business and risk questions:
suppose AI could do everything they wanted, but it's still an external company. They now depend on that company for 100% of their business. The AI could replace their entire company, including C-level. Is that the goal? If not (rhetorical) which percentage is acceptable? 50%? 30%? 80? Which areas of the business do they think they can actually leave in the hands of AI?
are they aware of the legal situation? Is there somebody making legally relevant decisions and are they using AI? How much are they basing their decisions on AI information (which is often wrong)? Are they comfortable with that risk? Would be great if they have a legal expert in the room. Ask them to name one (or three) examples of "serious / company threatening legal issues" and see if AI could cause them.

The general accusation to conspiracy theorists is that it's all wrong and all super ridiculously obviously wrong, like flat earth. A "medium severe" conspiracy theory like "it's rich people who are kidnapping and raping kids" barely gets attention.
It's also making the mistake of treating "conspiracy theorists" as a monolith, which they're not.

What it comes down to is this: the next time you hear something ridiculous, but evil about the government, do you dismiss it, or do you research it? Because we know who will tell you to "move along" and there is "nothing to see".
Thirteen years ago, this small youtube channel made imo very high quality meta comments about literary stuff and video games on youtube. (starting with the mass effect 3 ending and why it's bad)
Everything from low quality text, to selection of music, footage and the literary content is just... so good. And they're a comfortable 10-20 minutes each.
But I am also not sure if after he did what he did, there is really that much to say. The important part of that work is mental work and writing, and it will take forever to make even a single video.
Ja,... ich hab ein bisschen drüber nachgedacht, das stimmt schon, aber es hat das Ruder eben auch nicht so massiv rumgerissen das wir jetzt auf dem richtigen Weg wären. Es waren schon Fortschritte, aber eben nicht so drastisch wie wir sie brauchen um das Problem so radikal anzugehen wie es eigentlich wissenschaftlich und von der Bewegung gefordert wurde.
