I would also not be annoyed if someone spoiled an older form of media because it is old after all. And if it is well known, there is a reasonable assumption people have watched it (or would watch it if at all interested).
Discord being a bigger company, I'd think the switch just for this reason could be seen as a protest which should help pressure them into pressuring relevant parties. Though I agree people should also pressure their politicians directly too.
If by the bolded "them" you mean Discord... they are not doing this because laws. Those apply in some countries only. Unless you want to argue they are preparing for more countries implementing this.
They (Discord) will not pressure anyone because this is something they want to do.
Didn't it also say that if you self-host a private server for yourself (and mayne friends and family), you'd not have to ID verify. And it can federate, so...
Not that it's that useful for people like me who are not (yet?) savvy enough to self-host stuff but it should be an option.
Really excited for this. Gothic 1 is still one of if not the favorite. But it was janky even back then. Can't imagine playing the original today, but hopefuly this one turns out fine.
I only ever used or interpreted this as a thank you. But in the end, if someone makes an error and then flashes a "thank you" at me I usually let it slide because at least they said thanks. So I guess it works.
Thanks for the explanation and this link. It clears out some stuff. I guess I will have a look through this. While a notary is technically a lawyer, I don't think it is interchanheable in practice. But I understand the underlying principle at least, though can't agree with this particular implementation.
If you search for the name of a subcategory CoMaps will show that in the search result. If you tap on that it will highlight elements with that subcategory. So search for "archaeological site"
That's the issue though. If i search for it, there is no such category that comes up that I can click on. And I don't get why some categories come up and some don't - and in this case there are places that I can see have this category.
I would apreciate the use of spoiler tag.
