My stories: Abandoned drippings

  • It could be something harder to solve, but the thing that helped me was trying the boring/cliché/obvious advice first. Like p much every "normie" life tip I've followed has made my life slightly better.

Like exercising regularly (made minor aches less common), which lead naturally to drinking less (improved base mood a bit, and gave me my weekends back); reading before bed instead of screen time (paired with other habits made it so I can usually fall asleep within 30 minutes (huge for a former insomniac)); starting a diary (let me converse with myself and recognize long term patterns), then starting gratitude (diminishing returns after a while, but still think it's worth trying); walking/running (hurt at first, but eventually felt great), which lead to eating healthier because that made running easier (also less "food hangovers" from eating garbage); kept reducing drinking until I just stopped, and now don't see any reason to ever drink again (I feel I actually have energy and focus to Do Things on evenings and weekends - without drinking, weekends feel like they go on forever).

I've always tended to be a "meh" person. This hasn't turned me into like a type A extrovert or anything, but even when I feel down I don't feel that down anymore, and it doesn't go on for as long. My baseline mood is just a bit higher.

  • I like it, but I can see your point. You could also just reread it without the fuck it it's not against the law hehe

    Pardon my cheek :)

  • Why are we competing with other humans? It's not like they're some alien invaders from another planet. Let's work together to kill all the billionaires. 🥹

  • Gonna make it illegal to look up next?

  • Yeah now it's like let's watch how exactly rich people are trying to make the future suck for me and it doesn't even work, and even if it did it wouldn't make our lives any better

  • Not nearly enough names. Keep going. I want to be shocked and dismayed. I want to find my blind spots. I want the names of people I thought were allies. And then I want us all to have a great, international cultural reckoning to ensure this doesn't ever get this far again.

  • I understand that distinction, thus proving your point ig

  • So Anti/Christ is like Heel/Face in pro wrestling

  • why do so many end times Christians view end times prophecies like the Antichrist or the Mark of the Beast as things to be prevented or avoided?

wasn't raised Christian, but this kind of dissonance is what made me 1) question the faith of so-called believers around me, and 2) question the validity of my own faith / the teachings.

When it comes to most hardline religious people, If they really believed the teachings they claimed are true, they would behave in a completely different manner.

To live in literal accordance with most conservative religious teachings you basically have to act like an unhinged crazy person.

  • Good work, Italians! 🤌🇵🇸🇮🇹

  • Did a hobbit write this?

  • Nice.

  • I demand a reremake

  • Wrapped plastic - not fantastic.

Everything's got that wet toy sheen. Wow, so realistic. Much specular.

  • Rofl. Is everyone in the right wing trying to get in on distracting from the Epstein Files (and the fact he didn't kill himself)? Is that how shithawks try to impress their leaders now?

  • They also aim to slay hope in a livable future, because hope allows us to imagine a world different/better than our current one. And to see just how thin the membrane is between that world and this grey, futureless one that they've constructed.

  • This could be a line from one of the dreamers in Paprika

  • Maybe the outrage from the story will help bring some attention to the issue, even
