Same latitude doesn’t mean same climate though. North America is much colder at the same latitudes as Europe for example. The climate also depends on how far away you live from the ocean and many other factors.

Obwohl 3€ für 200g immer noch doppelt so teuer wie der Tempeh bei mir ausm Asialaden und dreimal so teuer wie billiger Tofu ist. Andererseits muss ich den Tempeh ausm Asialaden öfters mal wegschmeißen, weil er schon gammelt…

According to the Wikipedia article fascination can be caused by random mutations, bacterial or other infections as well as environmental stresses. So I’d say it totally depends. Only genetic mutations should make the plant give this characteristic to its offspring.

Most plants that I’ve seen with this characteristic are also not uniformly affected by it.

I’m currently helping organizing a film festival and it basically works like this. We got hundreds of password protected links to movies for screening, most of them on vimeo. I wouldn’t hand them out though because these are all small productions.

Kommt sehr drauf an, über welches Land man da genau spricht. In Kolumbien herrscht immer noch eine Art Feudalismus, wo Großgrundbesitzer an der Macht sind und alles im Land bestimmen. Es hat sich jetzt gerade bisschen geändert, weil das erste mal überhaupt eine linke Regierung gewählt wurde, aber die Machtstrukturen von vorher sind immer noch präsent. Und in anderen südamerikanischen Ländern gibt es natürlich auch sehr viel Korruption auf Regierungsebene.

Aber ja, europäische Länder brauchen überhaupt nicht so zu tun, als ob es nicht viel staatliche Korruption gäbe. Die Erzählungen sind nur sehr unterschiedlich dazu. Also die “zivilisierte” westliche Welt, die den “sinnvollen” Lobbyismus und dafür keine Korruption hat vs die “zurückgebliebene” restliche Welt, wo “Anarchie” und Korruption herrschen. Mal abgesehen, das westliche Länder ein großes eigenes Interesse an korrupten und kaputten Staaten in der restlichen Welt haben, um sie besser auszubeuten und dies natürlich auch immer fleißig vorantreiben…

Ich sehe nicht so richtig den Sinn darin, darüber hier jetzt zu spekulieren. Niemand von uns wäre in eine Entscheidung dazu involviert.
