  • I'm 31 and I scored all 20, assuming last is phone book. Although I only trained in typewriter, never actually sent anyone a letter. Although I did type a contract for my dad so I guess that's a real use case. All 20 then.

  • Well again because of budget cuts.

    All the bit fights were done in minutes which if they had budgets and episodes would have been 30 min battles.

    They all deserved more screnetime and I'll be honest, they needed some more exposition too, my wife didn't understand it right away.

    But all of those were done well all things considered. Key moments were shown, just enough information was given either through dialogues or shots showing what's happening, it just required so much attention and by the time you figure out what last shot was trying to say, show showed a mmfew more things.

    But I still think given time and budget constraints, Naren Shankar did a fantastic job with last season.

    My bank recently did this non sense where I signed the document using pen of my tablet and they said I must print it and sign it and send scanned copy of that. This tool would've been handy, because I had to walk 30 mins to a library in -2c and back to print a stupid document. Whats the point of physical signature if you don't demand a physical copy of the said signature. In hindsight I should've use gimp to make it look scanned. But this toll would've worked then.

  • Of course forming attachment to things that rest of the world might consider mundane is pretty normal and we all do it. Nothing unnatural or out of place for that and totally understandable. I understand sadness over a broken bowl. I worry that breaking of bowl is self inflicted.

  • I'm sorry to say this, and I know it's unpopular opinion, but there are healthier way to deal with emotions than breaking things. I know in your case it's perfectly valid and normal response. But in OP's case whacking things off the shelf, we have a choice not to lat emotions take you there. It's like an addict saying I can't help but steal for my hit. Its the same thing I can't help but whack things when I'm angry.

  • What governments should be requiring is, making bootloader unlockable and making firmware for all antennas, camera and buttons public. Realistically I think it's too much to hope from any government.

    That being said this Sanchar Sarthi app doesn't look so bad at a glance. Looks like a okay ish attempt at giving population tools to fight identity theft and phishing/scamming with some questionable success. Also the app supposedly doesn't collect any data.
