  • Seriously, the US needs their system to be remade and restructured from the ground up. So many things were never regulated and simply not done out of tradition. But Trump breaking with every tradition has now opened pandoras box and showed to any future bad actor with how much you can get away. It's somewhat surprising that it took 250 years for someone to break the system like this, but it most certainly won't take another 250 years to repeat now that Trump has set the precedent, unless the system itself fundamentally changes

  • Ich hätte da eine Idee: wie wäre es damit eine Vermögenssteuer einzuführen, die direkt an die Armutsquote gekoppelt ist. Wenn niemand in Armut oder armutsgefährdet leben muss, muss diese auch nicht mehr gezahlt werden, aber bis dahin wird sie genutzt um Armutsbekämpfung zu finanzieren. Das hat dann direkt zweierlei Vorteile: einerseits sichert man damit die Finanzierung für Armutsbekämpfung, andererseits schafft man Anreize für Milliardäre Armut zu bekämpfen. Wenn es für sie plötzlich finanzielle Anreize zur Armutsbekämpfung gibt, kann ja vielleicht doch der Freie Markt™ regeln.

    Ich bin der Meinung, dass es durchaus Reiche geben darf, man muss nur zunächst sicherstellen, dass auch die Ärmsten in Würde leben. Dazu könnte man mit einem solchen Modell beisteuern.

  • Klingt alles seht stümperhaft. TikTok wurde und wird ja auch in chinesischer Hand zur Meinungsmache genutzt, nur eben subtiler. Dadurch, dass Videos zu bevorzugten Themen mehr angezeigt werden und entsprechend auch mehr Aufrufe bekommen, sorgt man schon längst dafür, dass diese Videos mehr produziert werden und kreiert so mehr oder weniger unauffällig die gewünscht Echokammer.

    Dagegen Videos im Feed zu lassen, aber die Wiedergabe zu verhindern macht für jeden Deppen die Manipulation offensichtlich. Wie gesagt, einfach stümperhaft, sollten wir uns eigentlich drüber freuen

  • Ich denke man sollte den Begriff gezielt aufgreifen und ausschmücken um die entsprechenden Politiker in die Ecke zu drängen. Man könnte zum Beispiel hocheffiziente Verbrenner als Verbrener mit Wirkungsgrad > 70% definieren und fordern, dass nur noch solche Verbrenner zugelassen werden. Klingt doch erst mal fair, wenn selbst normale, nicht "hoch effiziente" elektrische Antriebe meist einen Wirkungsgrad um die 90% haben.

    Es ist natürlich technisch und physikalisch nahezu ausgeschlossen einen solchen Verbrennungsmotor zu bauen, da diese viel zu heiß verbrennen müssten, aber das zu verargumentieren ist dann Problem der Befürworter von Verbrennen.
