  • To be fair, I have used AI to write the story for my Pathfinder campaign, but it usually goes something like this:

    • I prompt the AI to give me some ideas
    • AI spurts out some bullshit ideas
    • while (mentally) debunking the AI ideas I come up with some ideas that actually work

    So basically AI doesn't provide anything useful but helps getting the idea process going. Maybe that's some variation on Cunningham's Law?

  • Mich würden ein paar technische Details interessieren, aus dem Artikel kann ich die nicht entnehmen. Wird das durch eine Android- und iOS-App realisiert? Dadurch würde das vendor lock in und deren Duopol Stellung effektiv durch die Regierung weiter befördert.

    Technisch wäre es absolut möglich sowas durch freie/offene Standards umzusetzen, ich hab da nur meine Befürchtungen.

  • The issue with fossile fuels or more generally oil dependency isn't the limited availability. It's that they're massive deposits of stored carbon and if we start burning them they get released to the atmosphere. With the oil deposits already known if we use them all, we'd have killed the planet long before the last drop of oil is used. We don't need any new deposits.
