  • Right. Would you say then, that trying to preemptively circumvent a yet untested law is a waste of resources and time? As in, it's better to wait and see how authorities and courts will handle and implement the law?

  • Thanks! I'll check it out!

  • (Male 37)

When I finally broke up with my first love in ninth grade after having endured her cheating on me with my best friend for two years - which I was aware of but didn't know how to deal with - I felt worthless, stupid, ugly, like a failure and I wanted to kill myself. Did some real damage to my hands to numb the pain. Even now, 25 years later, the whole ordeal still hurts mentally and physically. I know she was an incredibly horrible human being and I shouldn't punish myself for it, but that's easier said than done.

I've also broken up and got divorced about five years ago. We were together for eight years and married for four. This time, it was kind of amicable - we just had to go our separate ways even though we loved each other still - but it still felt horrible. I felt like puking for days after. It also shoved me into moderately severe depression and now I'm on meds for it.

    I wish I didn't have feelings.

  • Never heard of it, but I'll check it out. :) thanks!

  • Midnight snack, preferably potato chips. Without them, my mental health would go... Places...

But when I need to act normal, I guess lunch. I rarely need breakfast and dinner is overrated. A quiet, solemn salad for lunch. Possibly grilled corn mixed with mayo, feta cheese, broccoli, onions and cabbage. Mmm.

  • Thank you for sharing! Very valuable perspective!

  • Do you feel like men and women can’t understand or extend empathy to the other in bed?

Not consciously, I guess, but the mechanism of anxiety isn't rational. If it was, I would have put the anxiety and questions like this behind me a long time ago.

Homosexuals definitely have relationship-related and performance-related anxiety. Women worry about their body not responding (not getting wet) similarly to men worrying about their penis not getting hard.

Right. Being potent and always ready for sex felt like a requirement specific to men, but I guess women are also subject to unreasonable norms related to performance and sexuality.

  • I used to live in a flat like that. When I did, I used to have it open because I needed the fan noise to sleep.

  • Thank you for sharing!

  • Especially as someone who loves both discs and stuffed animals.

Thanks for that wholesome wrap up!💿🧸💿

  • I don't use the sync functions on browsers anyway, so it's of no consequence. Privacy wise, Brave is already built on top of degoogled chrome and the fingerprinting resistance of LibreWolf and the Tor Browser derived Mullvad Browser is too good not to use when possible. I haven't vetted any Firefox based browsers for Android yet as I have done with LibreWolf and Mullvad Browser for desktop, and Brave integrates really well with Android - as in, the user experience is great - so... XD

  • Nice try, Stephen Fry.

    Kidding.

    Android smartphone: Brave

    Linux desktop: LibreWolf

    Windows virtual machine: Mullvad Browser

  • Tomorrow, at work, I'm gonna brag about what I have learned here today, until my colleagues' ears fall off.

    Thanks again! :)

  • Reinvent myself. Take no shit. Get a girl and be happy. Also, die at the age of 32.

  • Thank you very much! :)

Interesting why iptables behaves like that though. Because, if I understand it correctly, specifying any address between 192.168.1.[0...255]/24 will result in all addresses in that range to be accepted? So, the only way to actually single out one host is to use the mask /32...?

  • Sweet! Thanks for another clear explanation! Have good rest of your day! :)
