  • Not an american but is the famous american "checks and balances" need to be turned off and on again or smt? It doesn't seem to be working.

  • As an avid audio book listener I really thought the rise of podcasts would make americans more literate but it seems like it had an inverse effect.

What's going on in the US? Is the water poisoned with heavy metals or something? The mental decline is palpable.

  • Appreciate your work!

.ml needs to be defeated as it's a cesspool of flavored fascists.

  • Which also led to countless war, murder and torture campaigns.

  • I think it's moot to discuss this without bringing up the actual law cases and I'm not going to lie - I'm a bit too lazy and this is too depressing for me to sacrifice my time for.

My faith in US' justice system is not great though so you might very well be right.

  • Yeah, I'm very well aware how double blind works and my point is exactly related to your 2nd paragraph. Be it coincidence or actual real placebo caused healing (which happens) it would be a major perspective trauma and it definitely happens!

Personally I do think that mental states absolutely impact biology through many invisible forces like hormone production and behavior. So getting a placebo and believing that it works can stimulate specific hormone production or healthy behaviors like going for a jog which ends up legit healing the person. It's easy to see how this could lead someone to a more spiritual or religious point of view because in this experience something like "faith" is legitimately healing them tho not in the way they think.

  • She knew exactly who she married to. These spawns are not victims - they're 100% in it.

  • Sometimes I think about the opposite where a patient is given placebo and then is cured. Imagine living the rest of your life knowing for certain that your body could cure whatever ailment it's going through but it's like naaah

Would legit drive people to deep spiritualism if not religion.

  • Not an american but seems like US' case law is very much precedented here. I don't have a source at hand but there has been at least a dozen similar cases all sided with the victims. Even official training of ICE explicitly says "do not stand in front of the vehicle ever".

If there's no justice here then it's entirely on lack of will rather than law.

  • paid by corporations

This is so "both sides are the same"-coded

  • And then what? Live in a world where everybody hates you? Fucking stupid.

  • And this is how you create more antisemites. These have to be the dumbest organized people that can't see past their noses. What a bunch of losers.

  • Fully agree. I'm generally an AI optimist but I don't understand communicating through AI generated text in any meaningful context - that's incredibly disrespectful. I don't even use it at work to talk business with my somewhat large team and I just don't understand how anyone would appreciate an AI written thank you letter. What a dumb idea.

  • 100% and I'm an early adopter of all decentralized platforms but I still run IT of my all extended family and have a few connections through these platforms so even with my limited use I'm still exposed to so many scams. I can't imagine what a daily normal user sees, it must be just scam after scam.

  • americans think they have power americans start a war americans lose the war against a bunch of dudes in sandy flip flops

Let's see history repeat itself. Again.

  • It's always the ones you most suspect huh

  • Not an american but Isn't that the entire premise of 2nd amendment? Good guys with guns will defeat bad guys with guns right?

  • Not that it matters but she seems so nice :(
