Yeah I'm a cat person and when I go outside in the snow I want to go alone. No brown or yellow snow, no wimpering because their paws are too cold. Just me and some crisp solitude.
I'm not arguing that all Muslims are the same, although I agree there are those who would, and they would be wrong and biased. We see the same generalizations about every type of group though.
I run a nonprofit that owns a few venues with great sound systems, so I deal very closely with a lot of musicians. And man do they all love their Macs. The windows attachment mostly has to with older large donors involved in our accounting. But neither of those things are going to change super quickly. I just keep switching over more machines one by one.
As much as I have no desire to play either of those games, their existence on Windows affects me exactly zero. I'm still a mixed Linux and Windows user (and a couple of Macs I don't want), I manage a lot of machines between my family and my small nonprofit. I like Linux a lot but I doubt I'll ever be able to walk away from Apple or Windows completely. But a man can dream! People keep dragging me back in...
I had a 32" and it had a flat screen meaning the glass wasn't curved but it wasn't thin. It was also higher res than 480p, it was a transitional model before flat screens rolled out. It weighed 160lbs! I was moving it carrying it by myself and had to rest it on my thighs for a few seconds. They were bruised for a week.
I lived a couple of years in Europe but more and more I don't care for western European culture. Some of the northeastern countries are okay. But I'm in my 50's and my short time living there doesn't define me outside of broadening my perspective and appreciating other cultures far more.
