It’s also more an indictment on realtors than it is praise of AI. Next time you’ll tell me AI is a competent landlord or health insurance broker.

I’d say there’d be an increase in overall leather consumption by having a strong second-hand market. Really not trying to dissuade people, you do you, but wanted to call out that things that hold onto their value in resale tend to be more desirable and could increase new sales.
This is just my made up take, i know nothing about leather, markets, or vegans.
really? i thought there’d be a noticeable difference between a full and empty tank. Like a 20lb tank holds 20lbs of co2, which you could definitely tell by hand. Now if they were trying to discern between varying levels of full, then yeah good luck.

Laura Les (100 gecs) and underscores are both worth a listen. Mostly in the hyperpop space though they both move around a bit genre wise (like most hyperpop).
I know lots of places that blur the line between bar, venue and club, depending on the night. There would be dancing most nights, but sometimes with live music instead of a dj. And while the dance floor is prominent, you can easily just chill in a booth.

Just picked up Kingdom Come Deliverance II from a discount site. I liked the idea of the first one but ultimately found it a bit too frustrating to finish. Heard enough good stuff about the sequel smoothing out the edges to give it a try.
Lmao no way. I was picturing a 3 year old.
Yeah I think kids get a pass on not understanding this, but I can only assume Elon looked at the server after this and expected them to acquiesce, instead of, you know, parenting.
Also a kid ordering something weird at a restaurant is a low tier example of ‘kids say the darndest’ things and is in no way ‘based’.
Feels like manipulation. Waits till markets close after a major sell off. Gives a tip to some insiders who bet big on a monday rally, then give the markets enough news to think there might be some relief.

I never really got into cs, but natural selection was the best. Even the stripped down combat mode slapped.

I think we’re just on very different pages around what the comfort of sitting upright brings to my method of transport, which is fair.

Some good tips in here, but I’d say that for 90% of utilitarian riders that the comfort of sitting upright will vastly outweigh the advantages of being aero. I would say that you’re better off either committing to aero and doing like you recommend, or getting some proper Dutch style handlebars. The in between style I see on most casual bikes here in North America (hybrids) is the worst of both worlds imo.

One thing I do like about the trailers is that, at low speeds at least, icy conditions are really just a hazard for the one stuck pedalling the bike. I can do 80% of my trips on paths separated from cars so it’s usually about as much risk as crossing the road.

Yeah been there (the parent pulling the screaming toddler). I always bring a couple back-up snacks to try to deflect the meltdown.

I do costco runs with my 2 kids in the trailer. Slowly start putting more and more stuff around them and they think it’s some kind of game. Thankfully I have an ebike cause that shit is heavy on the way home.

Yeah I added this to my ereader years ago after a friend recommended it enough times that I felt obligated to. Opened it once but couldn’t fight the feeling that it was going to be terrible so never started.

Yeah the drop in tariffs on Chinese EVs is going to have some blowback for sure. Really curious how the typical Canadian view of China is going to change over the next few years. Everyone is so libbed up over trump I think they’ll take anything. But even in a thread glazing China people will bring up the Michaels, so it’s incoherent still.

I’d love to hear some rationale for this, it’s quite a take, or is it a bit?

Yeah I was going to say that it didn’t sound like an IoT issue. I do think modern appliances have way too much computer in them because they are prone to failure, and as soon as the OEM stops making the board from your specific machine, you’re basically fucked when it comes to repairs.
When my samsung range died I found a guy halfway across the country on some appliance forum that specialized in repairing their boards and it bought me an extra 4 years, but then some other chip failed.
I’m sure I could handle the mechanics of selling a house with some legwork, but I will say being able to look convincingly like an actual realtor would be beyond me. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think AI is providing any actual value here, but it is kind of a cool party trick.
