  • We are a consumist culture with all products.both Chinese and European

  • EU does not have the capability to produce or even a wish to do so. If EU were to produce what we import from China, we'd have to open up the borders way more to get the workforce that is needed for that.

EU is not able to produce what it needs. I don't see how this fee should change this. In my opinion this is just a way to fill up the financial reserves for EU to keep spending money.

It is very good at spending it

  • This will cost the European citizens and big corporations will make money instead

I know that it is an issue but adding regulation on regulations and fees, duties and tariffs won't make EU stronger.

It's a temporary solution to a long standing problem. EU is not a production continent and does not want to be one. We need countries that do

  • Ok. I am not familiar with self leveling so wouldn't know if it's enough. But maybe the bed just needs a good cleaning with alcohol?

  • Have you done any bed leveling?

  • LOL at Google Gemini being secure.

The Google Gemini you and I use, is not the same Google Gemini that the government or military uses. We have Ms Copilot where I work, and I know that there has gone extensive work and money into the license used, in order to maintain data responsibility and security

  • I agree! But that does make it good though

  • This looks like a small print, suitable for experimenting. Try tilting it 45 degrees so that it is tilted against the bed. It won't have much contact to the bed but may need way less support and the layers may even strengthen the print.

I'd tilt it so that the flat backside faces towards the bed but do try various versions, see how it goes and also evaluate strength

Edit: oh... Hadn't seen the frame around it 🤦

  • The flag has character, but I wish the EU also had..

  • I am a Dane and not proud of many things the government is pushing. We do many things right but also have done and do some really illogical things lately

  • I doubt that it is understated but more an attempt to retain diplomatic bonds without offending the orange baby

  • Not only that, but also adds additional conditions even though he said otherwise in the first post..

  • Yeah that sounds like the dream.... /s

  • They made a choice. Let's see how they handle the consequences

  • Rookie numbers.. try a couple a year, plus the ones that never really take off.. For me, it's pipe smoking at the moment.. but I've been through so many that I can't even mention them. The largest ones in recent years were sim racing, fancy goldfish and to some extend Elite Dangerous (a space exploration/sim game). Those have gone pretty deep.

  • Nice.. I need to revisit Portishead! It's been some years since I last obsessed on them!
