World News@lemmy.ml•Tehran recruits psychologists to tailor messages for 'mentally ill' Trump: Report

The guy needs messages presented in images, pictograms, and slides just to accommodate for his short attention span

World News@quokk.au•China Is Aggressively Exporting Its Cars Because Nobody Is Buying Them In China
54·8 days agoThat is a very misleading title.
The market in china is quite massive. They just produce more cars than they can sell within China
That does not mean that nobody is buying them. It simply means that they produce for export.

Currently our dog thinks Mark looks and smells like a snack and also sounds like a chew toy 🤦
He is also a sighthound so I think he’d be triggered if we let mark run on the floor.
On too of that we know that we have some allergies to cats in the house so outlook is not great.
That said, were only helping out - no plans to get s car any time soon. But he really really is cute!😍
We’d consider if it wasn’t for our dog. But we’ll see how it goes 😂
Just cross posted to grssk

8·20 days agoI may live in a country that doesn’t do this but I’ve never seen a parking lot with a shelter. If there is, it is used to park cars in top.

Or when Covid caused logistic expense increase
What we haven’t seem to have learned is, that corporations will use any excuse to increase profits and make it sound reasonable. I won’t argue that their expenses haven’t increased, but the price increases are not equal to them. Also prices will rise dramatically but never fall as fast or at all

Interesting I thought T-nuts were used on aluminium profiles
You keep saying this as if you’re the only one while live in a rural place. It seems like you do too but have no idea of what is going on in the fields around you. And this is the exact point of the comment. Fields look like nature but could as well be tarmac when it comes to biodiversity
Also it will probably fail with the first few tries and have you try different documents… Just to have as many copies of your personal ID as possible
It is the crops that kill diversity though. Baren fields may actually be better for wildlife
I live right next to two fields and in a village with 30 houses, surrounded by fields.
You just prove the point
Sounds like you think you know even more though?
Fields are made to only maintain life for what is grown on it. There is very little life there besides the plants. Biodiversity wise, they could as well be parking lots. They just look like nature, because, as you say, they are green.
Even that, takes nature away. Birds that naturally nest on flat ground, can’t breed there any more, because moderns crops grow faster than they can grow their chicks.

The Danish verb smøre is a general verb meaning ‘to spread’ or ‘apply’ a substance onto a surface. It is used for butter, sunscreen, cream, ointment, and similar substances. So its basically a wordplay, calling it a butter shop or butter stall
