  • My partner is like this. Fully functional until they went down with stress because of the effort it takes to appear normal.

It took several years to come out of, and to figure out that there is an autism diagnosis behind it

The god thing is, that living in a socialistic country, with proper social welfare she was offered to work 10 hours a week and the state would compensate for the remainder of her wage to equal a full time employment

You're only normal until things start falling apart. I think it's important to not try too hard to be what you aren't

  • I have done more for NATO

As if it's his money! 💰🤦

  • "chilling"...

I'm tired of the media calling normal human rights heartwarming and news like this "chilling"

An 80 old woman being able to go on retiremen or a child being able to pay for prosthetic limbs because of charity is not heartwarming. These are the real chilling facts.

An action against a President who does not respect international law should be heartwarming although it's drastic

  • You describe a lot of terrible experience but also explain that it is a necessity because it has replaced Craigslist.

I'd assume one can manage without an online marketplace when given conditions like these?

I too miss the Facebook marketplace but I wouldn't give in to all this crap just to have access to it

  • The countries are indeed damaged because of it but not even close to as bad as it hurts the US population

  • Countries aren't, but companies are

  • It's not because the world hasn't seen enough crimes by ICE. The world is waiting for a reaction to it by the USA. The world can't do anything about it. It needs to be the USA who does something

  • No. They actually confirmed that USA has free access to build as many bases as they want and they have had this since WW2. Instead, they have closed almost all bases and gone from 10000 to 200 deployed soldiers.

If it was a national security issue, they would have at least maintained a larger military presence there, as they have free access to do so

  • They agreed to disagree, and to establish a working group to find a common solution.

I expect Vance and Rubio to have a bad time infront of Trump later today

  • Peace for our time" was a declaration made by British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain in his 30 September 1938 remarks in London concerning the Munich Agreement and the subsequent Anglo-German Declaration.[1] The phrase echoed Benjamin Disraeli, who, upon returning from the Congress of Berlin in 1878, had stated, "Lord Salisbury and myself have brought you back peace — but a peace I hope with honour." The phrase is primarily remembered for its bitter ironic value since less than a year after the agreement, Germany's invasion of Poland began World War II.

The Danish Foreign minister mentioned Chamberlain 3-4 times today after the meeting at the white house, clearly stating that he was not that and he could not promise peace

  • Jeg er meget mere spændt på at hører hvordan USA ser på mødet.

  • With work hours being what they are, you don't have set times where everyone needs to be at work or go home at the same time. It rural areas, having public transport so often that "you don't need to check a schedule" would mean empty busses and trails most of the time.

For me, I can tell that I have lived in a city where this was the case. It was great! But where I live now, this isn't possible. The narrative now is, that people should move into towns, to make this more effective. There is a very fine balance between effectiveness though, and industrialization of living conditions.

  • This is already the case in many places where it's possible. It would be a huge waste of resources though, in places that are thinly populated.

  • The cleanup was performed by people who didn't know that these were nuclear weapons though.

    Also:

Although they did not work at Camp Hunziker, the Danes worked at the Tank Farm where the contaminated ice was collected, in the port from which the contaminated debris was shipped, and also serviced the vehicles used in the clean-up.

The report also confirmed that the United States stockpiled nuclear weapons in Greenland until 1965, contradicting assurances by Danish foreign minister Niels Helveg Petersen that the weapons were in Greenland's airspace, but never on the ground

  • Honestly with all the mess he's been up to now, the Epstein files seem very unlikely to have any effect on him

  • They way I see it, USA can't be kicked out but it can leave.

That said I don't see a problem in making a new NATO, without the US and (hopefully) without veto rights
