  • Clean your dick guy

  • How is the quality of their phone? Does this person lie about the products themselves or just company?

  • Throwing out Stingray for people who often just need background music. Radio like music channels.

  • Rich people (top 10-20%) are either financially smart or have financially smart people advising them. They will be well diversified in all asset classes. And will have a lot of liquid capital ready to buy after the bubble bursts. And also keep themselves fat and well fed. The wealth transfers up.

  • That's a lot of cultural and generational baggage to unpack. That on top of navigating a mental illness is a bad mix. Hang in there.

  • Yeah I wonder why they don't go anywhere else, as a non-profit, what incentives do they have to stay in the US?

  • Molta fakakta

  • There are many articles around this topic and offerered alternatives. Though I don't think there's a consensus yet. Companies and individuals who made the change all did something slightly different.

  • It's a "box" instead of a dongle now. Called TV Streamer. Essentially the same thing.

  • Just saying a general reason Canadian golfers go South to the US. Not specific to the story itself.

  • I do agree with you. But people also go for the warmer weather.

  • To add on, yes there is homophobia, but not the religious "they're going to hell" type. Purely from a reproductive/family lineage stand point. People don't care as much societally, unless it's their own children, because that'll end their own family lineage (but science babies is possible). Especially if it's their only offspring from the result of the one child policy, the parents can be quite upset. If they had like 5 kids, and 1 is homosexual, most modern Chinese people would not care. But laws wise it's still very don't ask don't tell, so there's not many rights, but laws are generally not actively vicious.

Internally, China has been producing a lot of queer media. TV shows, comics, novels, animations etc. so far they mainly just need to not be "pornographic"

The crackdown on the media is bundled with restrictions on overt sexual content (gay or straight), video games, foreign media depicting "feminine" men (ie. Korean media), and whatever else they think distracts from baby making.

But queer media is judged a bit more harshly for sure.

  • This is a factual statement. Whether people like how it sounds or not.

It is true, though lacking fail safes of a real democracy is a dangerous game to play in the long term, even if technically positive in an instance. As most autocratic leaders seek to gain continuous and more power. Or their predecessor does.

  • I've had some while I was there, it was like beef but more tender, very good.

  • Went to PAX, the rest of the convention floor smelled fine. The smell at the tabletop game floor hit hard.

  • Interesting. Maybe because I'm in Canada. The polarization is pretty nuts down there.

  • Iranese? It's Iranian.

  • That's super well done? How did she stabilize the small berries on the sides?

  • Hmm, I'm not sure that's an issue. Do you automatically think that people think Joe Rogan or Seinfeld when they think of standup comedy? That's barely what they do. I'm sure most people are neutral or maybe like the same comedians as you. Don't overthink it.

Whenever I've brought it up as something I enjoyed, people will ask who I like and we have a fun conversation about it.
