Ill be honest, we are asked to use it at work, and ive actually given it a chance, and its helped me maybe 2% of the time. The rest of the time it wasted my time and gave totally wrong answers (which, since I have experience, I was able to recognize as wrong. A less experienced person would be duped, thus the danger.)
Not worth boiling our oceans while we give more money to billionaire scum. Also, embedded ads are coming soon so have fun with that.
Single player very rarely. I dont like looking up guides either unless im absolutely stuck and ready to quit the game over it.
Im absolutely a person who does everything the hard way and looks down on anyone taking an easy road. To me it devalues people who actually do work hard (example, using auto tune/melodyne vs actually learning to sing. I dont care how transparent it is, its cheating and waters down the real talented singers out there).
Its great doing this! The only issue is I drive older cars so the phone is very nice in case of a breakdown ha
A dumb phone for calls only would be good for that. But youd have to preload it with phone numbers of tow companies and friends etc. Would be pretty easy..
I much prefer not having my phone on me. Humans forgot how to be bored and instantly turn to the little dopamine device at any chance
Oo, I LOVE Scott pilgrim but never could get into the pumpkins (I just dont think its interesting or memorable. And the drums and bass are so boring its hard for me to like it)
The phone you use is going to be a far better method of navigation. Cars need a dumb screen that connects to your phone and displays the map, problem solved. Although id take all screens out of cars but kids today need a screen or they freak out I guess.
I hate infotainment and technology in cars so, go Toyota!
Give me efi and maybe abs (most of my cars dont have abs anyway)
Tech Junk makes all cars more expensive and prone to failure and impossible to repair, and further pushes us to technofacist dystopia where your every move is recorded and your car can be controlled remotely (Tesla can do this already).
I didnt have amy of that throat pain though, it was odd. I dont even know for sure if it was covid (impossible to know) but im not sure doctors could do much anyway. I still have a little tickle that makes me cough when lying on my back mostly.
I really only see a family doctor. Ill see if they have recommendations too. Thanks!
Yes save your commands. I put a commands text file on my nas so I can access from any pc. Or use joplin or another note program with sync. Save the command and a quick descriptor. Then you can even access that text file quick from within terminal using a text editor like nano or vim.
I set an alias up so if I type "command" it actually runs something like "nano /home/mnt/nas/command txt" and I can see them right there.
The general public is a lot bigger than niche lemmy interests though, is what im saying.
