It'll be measured at standard temperature and pressure to ensure consistent results across the board. If you're too cold they'll wait until you come back up to temp.
So much this. The same people saying "thank you for your service" are the same people that constantly want to cut veteran services. Sure they care when you're a tool for their goals, but why can't you then just instantly become an invisible member of society once you're done?

Might be what you're encoding. So far pretty much everything I've done has been visually indistinguishable (to me and my wife). Most of the content I've been encoding is anime, however.
