I'm playing on easy so I don't have to waste time grinding too much to get through it.
FWIW my experience with the game was that I felt overleveled for most of the game just by doing the side content and never had to do any grinding, but I was doing all the side content for a good while.
Been playing a ton of Hades 2. It is a very good game, easily my GOTY for 2025 over E33. Probably going to go back to Hades 1 after finishing all the achievements because it's reminded me just how good it was.
Played the first few levels of Ace Combat 7. As a franchise so famous for its "so bad it's good" political nonsense in a fake world, I incorrectly assumed that all the planes would be similarly fake, but no, it's straight-up US air force recruitment propaganda where you can equip special livery from real-life war criminals on your F-16. Gameplay is fine, I guess, but I'm so put off by the chudliness that I don't know if I'll go back.

Given that the US government exists to make megacorps like that as powerful as possible, they already effectively are, they're just saved the inconvenience/expense of directly maintaining their own military and nuclear stockpile.
My bigger concern tbh is a post-balkanization Texas or Utah. Evangelicals and Mormons are a whole lot more likely to let the nukes fly to bring about the end times imo.
IIRC their thing is that you can burn/char snow with a lighter which must mean it's fake snow! Being generous and assuming it's not fake, I would say this is due to pollutants, but what do I know.
