  • But for just $200/mo, you can have those ads upgraded to Premium Eagle Ads, which are better calibrated to be relevant to you!

  • Were they? There were the "female warrior" (Jayne and Gabs) models which are definitely in proto-power armor, and were released after Rogue Trader, but I don't recall them ever being mentioned in the book itself.

  • The thing about this being a test for fem marines is pretty fucking funny. Sure, GW has their release and manufacturing planned like 5 years out, but if there's enough backlash to femstodes they'll backpedal and dump all the injection moulds into the sea.

  • Yeah, but this time he plays a megalomaniacal scientist who wears a metal mask all the time!

  • Everyone should get to shout "Silence, capitalist hog!" at their boss at least once a year.

  • Yeah it's still on 2 (unless there was some development I'm unaware of). How Tesla hasn't been sued over calling it "full self driving" when it just isn't is beyond me.

  • If you don't all stay up until credits roll on Rebellion, you're missing out on the true fever dream experience.

  • It's not even no burger, it's just "very slightly different burger". Truly pathetic.

  • Yes, originally it was supposed to educate people about Georgism. The original creator was kinda swindled and sold it for very little money, believing that the Parker brothers were going to continue to spread its political message.

  • I liked Underground 1 a ton when I played it in college, and Most Wanted's open world was fun enough to get me to (mostly) ignore the piss filter.

  • Turnout for presidential elections is around 55%-60% with a bit of a trend up for elections since Trump won (last 4 were 54.9%, 55.7%, 62.8%, and 58.63%).

Midterms are generally lower, ranging from 35%-40% but with a similar trend up since 2016 (last 4 were 41%, 36.7%, 50%, and 46.8%).

  • That's a long tradition, look at the interview of Chai Ling, one of the student protest leaders at Tiananmen, where she explains that the other students are going to have to be massacred for there to be change but that she is too important for that to happen to her.

  • Somethingsomething generative AuAu.

  • Joe Rogan doesn't understand material reality, which results in him supporting policy goals in a vacuum without thinking of what achieving those goals would actually entail.

  • Curious to see how this goes, Rockstar seems to be grasping at straws with their arguments ("this employee talking about how there wasn't crunch is gross misconduct worthy of immediate termination"), but I'm not a lawyer so who knows.

  • Man tries "worst coup of all time", asked to leave existence.

  • I don't know, I kinda doubt even Obama could Obama his way out of this one now. "Keep doing the same shit and steadily make things worse" is becoming less and less viable every year, and I think we crossed that line sometime prior to the last election.
