Except it’s completely true - rare for WSJ, I know, but not completely unheard of. The weird hype around really unnecessarily excessive water intake is “Facebook Grandma Nutrition”-level bullshit. Healthy people have a reliable, fine-tuned mechanism for figuring out when water is needed: it’s called being fucking thirsty

  • To a degree this really did happen in Norway. But, the whiny, parasitic, sanctimoniously hypocritical little shits that took their ball and fucked off to Switzerland (incidentally: thanks, Switzerland, both ironically and… not) were still only a tiny proportion of the income from that same specific kind of wealth tax. The media just put the usual level of disproportionate focus on it, because the most blatantly scummy of the filthy rich have it so bad, poor dudes.

  • It’s not just the US even. It’s been a trend for many years already, both aimed at gymbros with gymbro nutritional science (“more protein is betterer”) and also selling that idea on to the general public because of the gymbro association.

I think the dumbest fucking thing I saw was a bar of chocolate I bought that proudly advertised that it had “high protein crisps” in it, and it was like 2% in a slab of milk chocolate.

    Can’t explain that

  • There’s never any exact lines. As with every term, especially in gaming, people will mean different things by it and may or may not implicitly assume people agree - except when arguing about it for ever and ever and ever. While nobody changes their mind at any point.

On something like Steam it’s a tag, which gives you limited information about the game. Not necessarily based on the literal reading, but what other stuff has/doesn’t have the same tag. And that’ll be inconsistent across storefronts, reviewers, individual players and all that stuff too.
