  • I knew a few straight edge people in the punk scene that were also super Christian. Back in the early 2000s. One of them was in a band that had songs on an Xbox snowboarding game I really liked his music but he ditched the band to be a worship leader.

  • He did

  • My cat would be fully sealed in with these.

  • It's not even hate, I listened to their music, but I never thought they were great music. I read a lot of books mostly litrpg, I'll never pretend they are great literature but it's enjoyable, fast food books. Limp Bizkit is fast food music.

  • Records sold doesn't = valuable music, culturally. Blink 182 was huge they didn't make a lasting impact on music.

It's ok if you like limp Bizkit but stop pretending like they made meaningful music. Next you'll be comparing them to the Beatles.

  • I was in highschool when they came on the scene. I'm well aware of Woodstock 99. Nothing you said counters my point. Looking back they didn't belong in the same breath as the other bands you listed except puddle of mudd.

  • Just because they were big for a couple years doesn't mean they produced anything of value. Angsty music for middle class white boys is nothing special.

  • Limp Bizkit isn't anywhere close to the others on the list, might as well listed Papa Roach.

  • Went from chill goofball stoner to right wing religious douchebag.

  • Even if Newsome skews transphobic he will be infinitely better than any Republican on the issue. We can beat up Newsome all we want now but if he "wins" the nominee acting like he's the devil incarnate is a really dumb position to take. I would prefer a ton of other people over him but he won't be pushing insane policies like the right is.

  • As a cis male who never experienced dysphoria I can't relate to your feelings. Exploring who you are is a great choice. You are 14 you don't need to make any concrete decisions about who you are. You might not be what your agab was and you might not truly identify as a female but from my limited understanding it's a spectrum so don't decide who you are find it out. Best of luck, I hope you have great people to surround you at home, If you don't find your people and leave the baggage behind.

  • It won't be like the dot com bubble. The AI bubble is far more corporate investment with far fewer entities having money thrown at them.

  • Have you seen a psychiatrist or were you talking to a GP? I got diagnosed with ADHD 3 different times in a 15 year period without a problem. Only stuck with the meds the last time about 4 years ago, and it was a game changer.

  • I have a carrier that is "tacticool" it's comfortable but I mock myself for having it. My original one was a hand-me-down and I really liked it so I was trying to get a link to it and found out it was discontinued or recalled for a design flaw that could cause hip problems for the baby. I really liked the feel of it so I bought another one that had a similar design but without the flaw.

It's nice having my own carrier and it looking different from my wife's. It also has some nice features like a sun shade I can cover the kids head with.

I also have no problem rocking the pink diaper/snack bag.

  • Potato bug is something else

  • In the grand scheme of things I don't think Jon Stewart wouldn't be that different from Gavin Newsome as president. I'd prefer Stewart 100x more than Newsome, just on a personality level, but the direction of the office would be pretty much the same. Newsome is a slimeball but he's not the worst Dem option on the progressiveness & electable matrix. I'm pretty sure Stewert isn't to far from Newsome on the spectrum overall. I'd much rather have AOC personally. I think she's far to the left of either Jon and Newsome.

  • It was probably his press people
